Les Maisons Fougère: Nature Retreat in Biodiversity – Jura

Les Maisons Fougère are located at the edge of the small village of Darbonnay. Imagine waking up to nothing but the rustling of trees and birdsong. Welcome to our protected world, full of fragrant discoveries.



Upon arrival, take in the sweeping view of the Jura wine region shimmering in the sun. The centuries-old fortified castle of Frontenay stands watch over the landscape. Closer by, explore our fully landscaped garden with aromatic shrubs and preserved natural plantings. To your right, a series of ponds dotted with colorful, fragrant water lilies curves through the grounds. In spring, dragonflies and damselflies dance above the water.



A few steps lead you to the terrace and into the chalet. The spacious 80 m² living area combines lounge, dining space, and a well-equipped kitchen, all bathed in natural light with panoramic views of nature. Upon request, we can prepare a basket of organic vegetables and a wood-fired loaf of bread for your arrival, available for an extra fee.



This rental offers 4 bedrooms, each with private bathrooms. The decor highlights favorite local Jura artists. Enjoy quality bedding with Linvosges duvet covers. Book the made-up beds service, available for an extra fee. For maximum comfort, with 2 guests per room, we offer 2 additional ground-floor bedrooms 25 m away in a separate house (Gite à L'Ombre des Tilleuls), accommodating up to 6 couples!
