  • The Majestic cabin, one of eight cabins at the Golden Anchor Cabins is designed specifically for a romantic getaway for two.

    The Majestic is a couples-only luxury honeymoon cabin located at the very top of our property and offers THE BEST view we have to offer. This one king-sized bedroom cabin has a beautiful bathroom with heated tile floors, a heated towel rack and a shower for two with body sprays. Upstairs is a picturesque game loft with a pool table, 60 vintage arcade game cocktail table, and a checkerboard high top table. The Majestic also features a gas log fireplace, a flat screen TV, high speed internet, an huge outdoor hot tub on a private deck, washer & dryer, mood lighting, a selection of romantic music, luxurious bed linens and is stocked with lots of fluffy towels. This cabin has free wi-fi so you can keep in touch with your loved ones.

    All of our cabins have central air, a full kitchen and a charcoal grill. We strive to provide elegant, upscale cabin accommodations for all of our guests. Therefore, smoking and pets are not permitted.

Quiet space with great views

We chose the location since it was 5 mins from the ski resort and 15 mins from Davis. The cabin was quiet and comfortable with great views of the mountains. The hot tub was fantastic after a day of skiing. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Honeymoon

This was the perfect getaway for me and my new bride — quiet — the cabins are of a necessity pretty close together, but were laid out strategically that everything was still effectively private. I wish we were able to schedule one more day.

Great get away

Cabin was clean and beautiful. Went for a 2 night get away with husband from daily life to relax and enjoy a peaceful time together. We hiked, used hot tub, played games in the loft ,and sat on the porch looking out at the mountains. Extra bonus for us was heated towel rack and heated bathroom floor. The cabin was perfect! Planning on another visit in the fall to see the changing leaves!

Great little getaway spot

Great cozy cabin with a private outdoor hot tub. All you need is the food you eat, the drinks you drink and the clothes you wear. The hot tub, stand up shower and king bed are great. Great local sight seeing with beautiful scenery everywhere you look!

Nice property

This was probably the cleanest place I have ever stayed. Was surprised at the amenities in the cabin. Place was extremely well stocked. Would highly recommend and would definitely consider a return trip.

Quick Thanksgiving getaway

One of the cleanest rentals we’ve ever experienced! Great views, everything we needed in the kitchen, and relaxing hot tub and shower. Our holiday for two was perfect!

Honeymoon Hideaway

Luxury one bedroom cabin with high end appliances/fixtures. We enjoyed the hot tub, heated bathroom floors, and double shower head- features that we don't usually experience with other vacation homes. The cabin is very clean, with excellent climate control, and a full kitchen. Location is just off of a main road, 10 miles from Davis, WV, where you can find restaurants, a coffee shop, a bike shop, an information center, and grocery stores. With minimal cellular service, this was the perfect place for us to honeymoon and disconnect. The owners were very responsive to our questions. My only recommendations to improve the property and our stay is faster internet service and to improve the directions to the cabin. At first we entered an address on the listing into our GPS which turned out to be incorrect. Overall, we had a great time and would return again.

Good view, fun times, super comfortable!

The property was beautiful! We had a so mich fun playing the game console and I even had fun losing during air hockey. The TV sound bar was very nice as well while we were watching movies. I was also pleasantly surprised by how stocked (minus food, which makes sense and should be common sense) the kitchen was. There was even a seasoning rack. I could come back for the double shower heads alone!

A beautiful cabin in the clouds

Cabin was in pristine condition and the view was breath taking! This luxurious cabin had everything we needed and was SO comfortable. Close to lots of activities and places to explore. Would highly recommend staying here and we hope to come back in the future.

We had a wonderful time. Jamie and Daniel had the cabin is excellent shape, we couldn't have asked for more. Playing PACMAN in the game room was a plus.
