Ski easiest access to Salamander Trail!

  • SKI INN. And we REALLY mean ski into the deck and ski on and off Timberline Mountain’s Salamander Trail. Oh, so easy, this is ski trip heaven! This truly slope side home offers two family rooms, all new appliances, and a large deck that is sure to be a favorite gathering spot year-round. There are lots of large windows so even those who do not enjoy the cold can enjoy watching the skiers as they navigate Salamander, the longest ski slope in the Southeast. Unload, unpack, and enjoy a week or weekend of great skiing and the convenience of never moving the car. Hikers pay attention. Spring, summer, and fall visitors will love the location and easy access to Dolly Sods. Ski Inn offers an outdoor hot tub, ping pong table and foosball game. Pack your gear. No matter what time of year there is lots to do here. Well behaved dogs are invited to join the fun, but please not on the slopes. Winter access is difficult. Please be prepared with four-wheel drive and tire chains.

Great spot

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House is larger than expected. Larger sleeping capacity than expected. On the slopes. Tough to beat when considering a ski house.

Host company was great and quick to respond to any questions. How was decent and had many amenities like games, gas grill and hot tub. Location was fantastic with direct slope access. Four wheel drive and tire chains are definitely needed in rough wintry conditions. Home showed some signs of aging like creaky floors, chairs, table and loose electrical outlets.

“Fall” in love!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Exactly what my husband and dog needed. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the season. Clean and well stocked. Realty company was super responsive to one issue that came about. Would come back for sure!

Having experience with rentals before there was always just enough to get through one day as far as your paper goods and towels and little odds and ends. But they gave us plenty. We didn’t have to go out and get anything else. The kitchen was great fully stocked the bedrooms were clean and had plenty of room to put our things in. There was no overcrowding. Everybody has something to do. There was plenty of games. It was just a fun atmosphere. We saw Bear mama and her 3 cubs and lots of deer. We will recommend this place and we want to return. Thank you.
