“Our family of four and another family of four came up for for two nights and a rafting the trip. Kids ages ranged from 9-14 and the place accommodated us well. Bobby is a very friendly and communicative host and the location is almost perfect. Fayetteville, which is a really cool little town is less than five minutes away. The New River Gorge bridge is less than 10 minutes away and so are the camps for various rafting outfitters. I say almost perfect location because the house is on a busy road...

“The house was very cute and had everything we needed for our stay. It was difficult to find the driveway, but the host Wendy gave us excellent directions. Walkable to all the restaurants and a short drive to the visitor's center for New River Gorge National Park. There is another visitor center about 45 minutes away, but it was not a bad drive. For the price you get a clean, air conditioned place to stay with a basic kitchen and great shower, which is perfect for after a day of hiking or other activities. “This property was in the middle of everything we wanted to do! Short drives to ALL of the Canyon Rim features of NRG NP. You can walk to everything in Fayetteville from this property (although we drove to a few because of rain).
