    Situated in the Blue Flag seaside resort of Dawlish Warren, the park is the closest accommodation to the beach in the area. The MK1 railway carriages date from the 1950’s and 1960’s and have recently been superbly renovated into desirable, boutique accommodation. Each carriage has three bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, flat screen TV’s and even heated flooring to be enjoyed during the cooler months.. As soon as I saw this place I knew I had to go and I wasn’t disappointed, first impressions were wow and it just got better, it has everything you need even underfloor heating which was bliss, 2 bathrooms so no waiting for someone to finish. Beds were very comfy.

When we arrived we had no idea where it was and I hadn’t received any info regarding check in. When I called customer services they were not helpful at there was no out of hours to support us. However Josh the caretaker was amazing and allowed us in without the information we needed to gain access . He made a stress full situation a whole lot better. The amenities we new and modern but it could have done with a good clean and the spiders were next level ! Overall good location and great caretaker but the check in process could have been a lot better .

Overall veryclean and tidy, you might have the odd spider but that’s to be expected due to being an old carriage with lots of windows. Double bed amazingly comfortable. Kids loved bunk beds , slept through the noise of the trains passing by. There’s plenty of room in the carriage.
