We had rented another home nearby but upon our arrival we discovered it was nothing as advertised. We needed to find another accommodation for the week quickly as it was already heading into the evening ours and we had tired and cranky kids. We contacted Mr. Toom to see if we could rent this beautiful home last minute, he agreed and was gracious enough to not only let us check in within the hour but also allowed us to extend our stay past our original check out date, then offered us an extra day on top of that. Our family and the family we were traveling with were so grateful for his generosity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the house was beautiful, very clean, spacious and very well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The added bonus was all of the fire wood provided for the awesome fire pit on the property where we all enjoyed smores and staying warm on a snowy night. Overall our stay was even better than we anticipated and we owe it all to Mr. Toom.

The house was fantastic.Very Clean. Well stocked. Comfortable bed. 2 complete kitchens which came in handy. And the View...OMG. Loved it! There were no close neighbors. The wooded areas around the house gave great privacy. The porch was awesome. I can't think of one thing we didn't enjoy. Definitely will be back.

Host was quick to respond and gave us tons of information. By far one of the most well stocked houses we have ever stayed there was nothing lacking in the kitchen and we had so much room for everyone to be comfortable. Firepit was awesome and having two kitchens was a huge plus.

The cabin was incredible! It was clean and was the best stocked VRBO we have ever experienced. The decorations made it feel cozy and homey. Check in was super easy and the host was quickly responsive to any questions we had. My daughter and her best friend had to work from home one day and made quick use of the fabulous office space. We definitely would stay here again and are eyeing their other cabin for a future stay!

Exceeded expectations in regards of accommodations

My overall impression of the property was how efficient it was and the ease of use/access to everything. The kitchen was stocked with appliances that was very handy to cook and utilize. My family, boyfriend and I really enjoyed the property and the use of the fire pit! The communication with the property manager was great! We left a comment in the visitor book there! Having access to a garage was very helpful because most properties I rent the garage is usually locked! In the future if my family and I are in the area, definitely a returning property visit!! 10 starts ouf of 5!!

The owners or managers of the property spared no expense! The bath towel were luxurious, beds so comfy we didnt want to leave and the kirchen was completely stocked with every kitchen gadget youd possibly need. We will definitely be back!!

This was a truly amazing place to stay. The house had ample space and came fully equipped with everything needed. The host was phenomenal at communicating and truly helped make our experience wonderful. We did have a bit of a hiccup checking in, but after figuring out the right code it was nothing but perfection. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to create a special memory.

Luxurious!

This house was so amazing! It was clean, the linens smelled amazing and were clean, there was plenty of room to spread out! The only thing is it’s on the top of a mountain, and there was a lot of fog when we came up there, but that isn’t anything that can be helped. Hassan is great at communicating with his guests and we had no trouble with anything!

Perfect gathering place

We were there for my daughter’s wedding. We had plenty a room plenty of beds, anything we needed was available to us. The house was clean stocked with everything. Sitting out on the back porch was wonderful each morning and I think the only downfall was that we didn’t have a mountain view, but it was OK because we had our family. Everything was PERFECT!! Thank you!

Amazing location! Beautiful home.

We had a family reunion at this beautiful property. It is spacious and has everything you might need. The kitchen comes fully stocked, and there are plenty of towels. The location is stunning, and we enjoyed using the Big Canoe pass each day we were there. Big Canoe was only a 15 minute drive depending on which entrance we entered at. The privacy of the house and it’s own personal hiking trails around the property was really enjoyed by our families. We would visit here again!

Family Wedding Trip

We had a wonderful stay at Big Bear Ridge! The home was beautiful and well stocked! We also had a mother bear and cub visit us the first morning of our stay! We had enough beds to accommodate our family of 13 adults and we used a small mattress to accommodate our three little ones. We enjoyed having coffee and breakfast out on the patio. We also did s’mores one night. Part of our group were able to visit Amicalola Falls State Park, only 13 miles away. I wished we had more time to explore and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We contacted the host once about extra sheets, he was very cordial. Told us exactly where they were located. Thanks again for a wonderful experience! FYI, the wedding experience was also great! Shout out to the Wheeler House event venue!

Family Reunion

This cabin is tucked into the woods and is very private. The cabin had everything we needed for our large group. The back porch was great. The kitchen is fully stocked and all the drawers and cabinets are labeled. We cooked every day and had a lot of food so the extra refrigerator in the kitchen downstairs was nice to have. We used the fire pit to make s’mores. The driveway was great for hanging out with the kids and playing cornhole since there is really not a yard. There was plenty of parking especially since the garage is empty and we fit two cars in it. Grocery stores are about 20 minutes away and there was plenty to do in the area. Passes to get into Big Canoe was nice. We all went swimming and had a picnic lunch. We had a great time with our family and would stay again.

Impressive & Wonderful!

We have stayed at MANY rentals and this property is by far the most well stocked and had the perfect accommodations for us! The home was beautiful with plenty of space. The decor is very nice but also very comfortable seating and bedding situations. We were very surprised and pleased with the elevated level of appliances, kitchenware, and supplies. In addition there were an abundance of charging stations in bedrooms and common areas. The host has thought of it all. Everything was very clean, spacious, & well stocked and supplied. Thanks for sharing this beautiful & wonderful property with us. We are looking forward to making this our annual accommodations for this retreat.
