“This was an older very basic motel, however we found the room to be very clean and the beds were comfortable, we checked in late and got up early on a drive home for Thanksgiving —-and for the price it suited our needs just fine. Small safe little town, not tons of dining options but if you need an overnight stay, book here. No frills but clean safe place to rest. Would stay again. ”

“A nice surprise for Stephenville, Texas. This motel is fun! I went on Expedia.com to book room for an overnight stay to see family in the area. The photos suggested a vintage motel. When booking rooms, I was torn between the room with a waterbed, or the room with “golden fingers”. What? I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. ”

“At first I thought this isn’t too bad. But when I went to bed I discovered there was only this thin so called bed spread for covers. The top sheet had been tucked in only to discover another top sheet. When I pulled the fist one back the one underneath it was dirty. My daughter was bitten by some kind of bug in the bed. The floor were swept and mopped but were still dirty. Make sure you wear sock to walk or your feet will be filthy. There are no plugs for hairdryers except at the lamp. ...

“Kerry was very accommodating, went out of the way to get us checked in early as we had a Wedding at 4:00 ( normal check in time).The house is so cute with a huge kitchen and big dinning table perfect for a gathering. Beds were comfortable with lots of pillows.The back patio looks out to a field with tons of birds. It was perfect for early morning coffee. We would definitely go back!”

“We were looking for a pet-friendly stay during our move from Florida to out west. The Hive was an extremely cute, well appointed and seemingly professionally decorated stay with a large, fully fenced in back yard for our fur babies to run and sniff after being cooped up in the car for 10 hours. Will definitely keep in mind for any other cross-country trips.”
