Son Ferrandell Estate

With the incredible views and the sparkling Mediterranean sea on the horizon, it is hard not to fall in love with this beautiful estate just outside the picturesque village of Valldemossa, on Mallorca's magnificent west coast up in the Tramuntana Mountains.

Nestled in a protective environment of greenery such as olive trees, cypresses, citrus and palm trees, the property overlooks wide valleys facing the Mediterranean sea. Already from afar, the front facade and the two wings can be seen, which underline the large and compact volumes of the architecture. In front of the house there is a gravel field where the greenery is palpable with lushly growing hedges, trees and flowers.

The quadrangular estate consists of two carefully renovated buildings whose history goes back to the year 1889 when the house was bought as a sanctuary by the Austrian Archduke Luís Salvador, but traces of this time still remain today. ​​


​Noble Floor in Finca Son Ferrandell

Here is the opportunity to enjoy the countryside while reaching the pulse of the big city of Palma in just 20 minutes. Perhaps the yearning for country life is greater now more than ever. The green surroundings embrace a paved courtyard behind the iron gates. ​​

The primary reception level (the Noble Floor) of the East Wing enters through the traditional kitchen and its garden. The bright kitchen with details in stone and wood is equipped with modern appliances, several sinks and plenty of workspace on the counters. The kitchen also features a large dining table. 

In connection to the kitchen you will find a small lounge with seats to relax away from the Mediterranean sun and a bigger dining room for family style dinners.

In the living room you will find comfortable seating for relaxing in the afternoons. Here you will also find the guest bathroom and an upstairs lounge. 

Bedrooms​
The three bedrooms are all en-suite. Each bringing their own unique charm. 
The first being the Jasmin room, a beige and white colour welcomes tranquility and beautiful views. 
The Rose room brings warmth in colour and style with a chic Hollywood esque bathroom with doors out to the beautiful balcony.
The third bedroom is the Sunflower room, the newest of the rooms with a grand ceiling and stunning views to the sea and overlooking the inner courtyard.

Gardens, Terrases and Surrounding​
The farm has tangible greenery with lushly growing hedges, trees and flowers. Entering the property throught the kitchen garden directly brings you in to the harmonius greenery in the form of rose bushes, jasmin and herbs to use for cooking. From the living room's double wooden doors with glass sections, you will find a lush garden with fruit trees and rose bushes. Amongst the greenery is a long table for al fresco eating and a comfy sofa group in the shade. From the patio you can reach the balcony that flatters with a view of the mountain peaks and the open landscape.
