It was not too bad for one night. The taxi driver had great difficulty in finding it. The food was good in the deserted restaurant. The bed linen seemed a bit 'grey' and there was a suspicious-looking streak on the duvet. On leaving the person on duty tried to charge me for the room although I had booked and paid online through Hotels.com but I think this was just an inexperienced clerk and my explanation (and receipt of payment) was eventually accepted.

We found ourselves cheated at this hotel bcoz of the following reasons.Our train reached new delhi at 5.30 in the morning accordingly we checked in at aroun 7 am. We stayed for one night and checked out at 9 am.But we were charged for 2 days as they said our check in and check out timings are 12 noon.After great persuation and deliberation the amount was settled for one & a half day.We asked for breakfast on the second day wherein we were refused for the same as the hotel persons informed us that it is for one day only when we said you have charged the amount for two days and are serving the breakfast for one day the manager said this is our policy and we are adhering to it.

Fooled by reading the review

Hotel rooms are so cheap, not as in the photos they'd shown. Everything are photoshop edited!! Located in an extreme end, made my day really a tougher one to explain to taxi drivers. WIFI was the only satisfaction there.

Honest hotel in the middle of Delhi's Karol Bagh

It is not a 5* property and it does not pretend to be. What it is is a small hotel with a nice family like atmosphere. I would not say that Blue Sapphire is a modern place, but it is honest whit what it has got and it is CLEAN! The rooms offer AC and flat screen TV (could do with more English programs than HBO and news, but hey, there's no time for telly anyway). There's also a reasonably priced mini bar in the room and if you don't happen to find a beer there, just let someone in the hotel know. Any little maintenance issues or extra wishes were quickly fixed. They did sort me out with reasonably priced city tour and a guided tour through the 'Golden Triangle' too. Breakfast is cooked to order, just the coffee took a bit longer and was not the standard we are used for. Drink tea and all be great. All and all, great value and a nice comfortable stay. Thanks to all the staff for making my for nights there very pleasant, I shall call again if I find my self in Delhi once more.
