Perfect Getaway

If you’re looking to be close to downtown Delray, this is the property to stay in. Really close to the Av. Clean and roomy. I will definitely rent this property again.

Great house for families and friends

Couple of rooms have 2 doubles beds. Plenty of room to spread out. Easy checkin and out with great communication with owners. We had everything we needed for our stay. We didn’t cook at the house since we spent everyday out and about and evenings were at me sisters place. The beds we’re comfortable and everyone found a pillow they liked. A great stay.

House is accurate and clean

House is clean and more than adequate. Not much extra in terms of bed linens. Communication was very good. The backyard and furniture out there could be replaced.

Delray Stay

The house itself was adorable and well maintained(on the inside). It was perfect for our family of 9. It has five bedrooms which meant that the little ones could be put to sleep in their own rooms while the adults could stay up and enjoy the evening. The house had everything we needed for a long weekend stay which was awesome! The proximity of the house to the Main Street in Delray as well to conveniences like grocery stores and retail shopping was amazing. The reason why I gave 4 stars on the location was because of the neighborhood itself. It was perfectly safe but some of the houses in the neighborhood are a bit trashy, meaning the yards and houses are not kept well. Other than that, it was an awesome stay! I hope the next family enjoys it as much as we did!

Delightful stay in Delray Beach

What a beautiful home away from home. The house is spacious, clean and beautifully designed with quaint wall hangings, tasteful furniture and fittings and a fully equipped kitchen that can easily seem like your own. It was incredibly convenient having a double set of washer and dryer combos, especially with consecutive days at the beach. We were able to keep towels and swimsuits fresh. Any snafus we encountered we communicated to our host who was very responsive and willing to address them right away. Every member of our family, ages 15 thru 86, enjoyed this vacation immensely. We built treasured memories in this house which we'll be talking about for a long time. Heck, we may even book it again!

Review

The house was good and very modern. Lots of rules to follow. I consider myself an overall rule follower, but the constant shoes off and on every time was something we didn’t like. The front door looked like a shoe closet. Also, we didn’t like the A/C restrictions. Overall everyone has their preferences on thermostat temperature. We feel it should be up to the guest to determine that. Of course once we depart we would adjust the thermostat back to the required temperature. The backyard in our opinion could use some type of better entertainment space. Location was near a Publix which was great. Atlantic Avenue was not far away. Cheap Uber to the main entertainment area of Atlantic Ave. Beach was a short drive away. We give it a 3.5 stars out of 5.

Girl trip to Delray Beach

Had a fun trip with high school girlfriends to Delray Beach. This property worked well for our group. Everyone had their own bed and only 2 had to share a room. The house is very cute inside. While it lacked in what we considered some "basics" we made due and enjoyed our time together. The house was only about 10 minutes from the beach and Atlantic Avenue which was full of some fabulous restaurants and shops. The neighbors we saw were friendly, and we even bought lemonade from some little girls down the street. We did not use the back yard at all due to it being filled with small rocks/pebbles. The front yard was small and close to the street, but we were able to put 2 large SUVs in the driveway. There is a rule about not wearing shoes in the house. We abided by the rule but at one point we had probably 18 pairs of shoes by the front door. Six women and their shoes! We decided a bench or rack of some kind would have been helpful. Maybe it's because we're in our 60s, but trying to find any local news/shows on the TV was challenging. We enjoyed having Netflix, etc, but some of the girls wanted to watch their morning shows and we couldn't find them anywhere. All in all we had a great time and the house worked for us. Thanks to the owners for such easy communication!

Location is SUPERB. Quiet neighborhood. Excellent for a family. Walk to beach and restaurants. Grocery store 1/2 a mile. Safe, clean and great communication with host.
