The resort itself is very nice. Private beach, hot tub and pool were very well maintained.
The unit that we were given did not at all match the pictures on the website. We had booked a one bedroom suite. The unit given was on two levels with a spiral staircase. The bedroom was upstairs. The bathroom and kitchen areas were on the first floor.
Based on pictures on the website, we had no reason to expect our room to be laid out like this.
I complained at the front desk, and they did offer assistance. The employee Aiden at the front desk did everything in his power to help us come up with a solution. So thankful Aiden was working the front desk.
We had booked through Expedia and after many many long phone calls I finally gave up on a trying to get a partial refund, but I feel like we are owed something. I feel that Expedia the booking site needs to fix this.
