We would like to share some thoughts about the property with you for improvement purposes. There’s concern about the general cleanliness of the property. For example, the bar light over the island and the corner above the back door were covered in cobwebs. The floors were very dirty and stained our socks. There was garbage, dirt, and a lot of dust under the beds and on the floor around furniture. If you are charging a cleaning fee, then we would expect the property to be clean for our stay.There were things missing from the house upon our arrival. There was no first aid kit, even though the sign on the sink cabinet and fridge said there was one. There was no chlorine liquid like the hot tub manual mentioned. There was however chlorine tablets in the float. Some other things that need attention are: the can opener doesn’t work, there’s flooring missing from half of the downstairs bedroom and the bed is slanted (we didn’t use this bedroom for those reasons), the paint on the kitchen wall is scuffed up from the chairs, the screws on the back of the kitchen chairs are sharp and snagged our clothing ruining one shirt, the kitchen cabinet doors are scratched up, and the shelf in the kitchen pantry was broken.With what was advertised in your listing and for the amount of money paid to stay at this property we would have expected better conditions. However, the hot tub was functional and a great part of the house. Otherwise we would give 1 star instead of 2.
