This property is like an old friend and is an excellent value. Communication with our host was easy and all our questions were answered promptly. We had everything we needed and more to keep adults and kids off their screens and engaged with each other. Lots to see within an easy drive, good fishing, board games, extra towels and blankets, cleaning supplies were all there. We are already planning our next visit.

It waa the Perfect Spot for my family that grew up on Blue River. Easy Access to the River, Beautiful Yard. The house is nice and big with lots of beds but the front porch was our favorite.

Cardinal house was clean, peaceful and relaxing. There was plenty of wood for the woodburning fireplace and there were only 4 old ladies but we enjoyed sitting in our rocking chairs, sipping coffee and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. This would be a great place for families to enjoy a family "campout" without having to worry with tents and dragging the camping gear.. the kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of cooking pots and pans. It is a good ways from town so bring everything with you. Ice, water, food and snacks. It was a bit difficult to find and we have asked host to improve signage so hopefully it will be better marked.

Break from technology

Spent a week just burning wood and enjoying the area, nothing fancy just an old cabin with great nostalgia. Will definitely keep going back.

We love coming to the Cardinal Cabin every fall! Its peaceful and close to a lot of great trails. Looking forward to next year!

The cabin was really quiet and have a large backyard for outdoor activities. Most of all, Jennifer was great and appreciated her helps during our stay at Cardinal House.

We Love This Cabin

The management team was friendly and amazing welcoming. The cabin was described as online and has plenty of outdoor space for doing all kinds of activities including hiking,kayaking and bonfire. I recommend this cabin and I’ll be back here again.

Blue River stay

We have a wonderful stay. Expect primitive and wildlife. We spent all day at the river, kids swam and fished. Loved it!

Relaxing few days

Thank you so much for a very nice few day stay there in the Cardinal cabin! We had a ton of fun riding the back roads, fishing, and golf. It was exactly what we needed for a quick work retreat. The host was excellent…..she even came and cleaned up some boxes of mess we had left in the patio area (which was a really nice surprise to come back to). Thanks again for an awesome stay!

Buddy Trip

This is our groups 3rd time using this cabin for an incredible guy trip. It is a perfect option for those that enjoy camping but want to escape the primitive part of it. Having access to the meal prep area, screened in porch, fire pit, and Blue River makes this cabin a perfect spot for our group to get away. We will keep coming back.

Rustic Country living!

Great property to just go to and relax! Loved the river view! We lived on the porch and with the fans on it was comfortable. We had trouble with the smell of the sulfur water. It is a rustic and beautiful lodge! Would be great for a large group!
