We had a large group and there were accommodations for everyone. I love the host provided coffee, tea, creamer and sugars. The ocean was very close with a great view of the waves. Very comfortable all around.

I was informed upon arrival that the cleaning crew had quit leaving Leanne responsible for cleaning. She did her best but some beds had sand on the bedsheets; microwave quit working in the middle of dinner prepping; dishwasher didn't clean the two times we ran it, so, washed by hand.Not much water pressure at the kitchen sinkI would appreciate some type of discount for the above issues.Thank you

THE GOOD: House was very large with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The furniture was comfortable and enough for our family to be spread out. Views were great! The location is perfect for branching out to neighboring towns for a day trip. THE BAD: The cleaning lady was there when we got there and couldn't get it all done because helpers couldn't make it. The floors were filthy and we had to sweep 2X so grandbaby could crawl around. One of the 2nd floor bedrooms smelled like Marijuana and our teenage daughter was in there. The dishwasher came out of cabinet when opened and didn't clean. We had to clean the filter (yuck,!) and it was a little better. Some of the dishes in the cupboards had food stuck on them from the dishwasher. There weren't enough coffee cups or silverware for our family of 10. The cups and glasses were mix matched, but the dishes were a beautiful set. The worst was the day my husband and I went to another town for the day to celebrate our wedding anniversary and halfway through the day our adult children called us because the power was off. They called the property managers and were told the power bill was paid .40 short. LAME! NO WAY! The power is not turned off for that! We were looking forward to a beautiful, clean beach house for our family reunion and were disappointed due cost vs cleanliness. Its not the cleaners fault because theres no way I could have cleaned it by myself in one day.

We stayed a week, Sept. 15th and left on Sept. 19th for a family vacation, it had everything we needed. Beach view was excellent, kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was filthy and had not been cleaned in some time. The house could use maintenance and a good cleaning. We questioned if the beds sheets had been washed in our room before we got there, the bathtub had hair, and the bathmat had not been switched out from the previous guests. I will be looking somewhere else next year.

We overall had a beautiful time and booked again for next year. The setting is great. The size of the house and all that is available for children is really nice. The access to the beach was perfect. We loved the big upstairs common area, the ability to see the ocean and having enough room for people to be able to be alone and together with ease. There are a few things that are breaking down on the property - the outside deck stairs and railing, shelves missing from the fridge, the dishwasher was not stable, and there are things missing from the pool table and games in the garage. But overall - we really enjoyed our stay.

The location is a 10! Direct private beach access. The view from the top deck is perfect. And it’s nice to have so many rooms and beds in the house. BUT the house is in need of some major TLC. Lots of safety concerns throughout the house. When I reached out to the host, they said “thanks for your feedback” without any offer to fix or make things right.

House was not clean when we arrived. We cleaned floors and all bathrooms. House was somewhat run down dishwasher seems a bit broken but seems to work.We did enjoy our stay great location and beautiful views.

Family Reunion

We booked this home for a family reunion and it did not disappoint. The home had all the basics for big family get togethers and the views were spectacular. The beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of space for our kids, their cousin, aunts, and uncles and was accomodating for kids to be entertained and for the adults to relax.

Hugely disappointed in this rental experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very strong odor of pet urine on the entry level. So bad, that we could not use the space. The beds were made with what appeared to be clean linens, however, the wood floors were dirty & dusty, with dead bugs and lots of hair. The toilets were dirty with urine & feces, sinks had not been wiped out, with old toothpaste. The third floor living space rug and floors had not been swept in what appeared to have been some time. We found a vacuum and broom and attempted to tidy up while we waited for a response from the host. The kitchen was dirty, dining table had not been wiped off, nor the kitchen counters.When we received a response from the host/owner around 6:30 pm, she explained that cleaners had cleaned the morning of check in. I disagreed and sent pictures of the filth and was told that cleaners would come. They arrived around 8:45 pm, and we uncomfortably waited for them to complete a brief cleaning of the bathrooms, but in order to get our young children to bed, told them not to worry about the rest. We went to the local market and bought our own cleaning supplies to at least clean the kitchen enough that we felt comfortable using it for the next two days. The ONLY thing we enjoyed of this home was the view and the location to the beach. It desperately needs a professional deep cleaning and other numerous repairs. In its current state, I would definitely NOT recommend this rental.

Great For Multiple Households!

View-FABULOUS! Space-great separation with three levels! Stocked very nicely in kitchen and bathrooms! Beach access-right There were a few workarounds, but overall it worked well for us!next to house!

Repair issues everywhere and poor communication with the property manager

When we arrived the thermostat was broken, the house was freezing, and it took a full hour of multiple calls, emails and voicemails to all listed property management numbers AND main VRBO before I got a call back saying someone would come over to try to repair the heat. Someone finally came over three hours later, and my husband actually ended up fixing the thermostat. The house owner was very nice when she finally called me, and was very apologetic, but the local managers were pretty unresponsive. The house has an amazing view and is in a great spot, but there are repair issues everywhere -- the fireplace doesn't work, one of the stove burners doesn't work, the lights outside by the hot tub don't work, multiple lamps in rooms don't work, the hot tub jets don't work, the pool queues are all missing tips, and on, and on.

Great location - but issues

The location was great! The Beach access was great. However we had trouble with the cleanliness! There were dog pee stains (3 of them) in the bunk room. There was dog poop on the deck by the hot tub! The thermostats on the first and second floors stopped working on Saturday. I called the "host" who said she would send somebody. They never called or ever showed up to fix them! Very disappointed with their efforts to fix something that seems pretty critical to us.
