Loved the tiger theme. This bungalow was conveniently located in an historic neighborhood, only 16-20 minutes from the state fair. I wish my sister had come with her dog because the place was well-adapted for traveling pups!

We absolutely loved staying at Claire’s home. It was perfect for us and our pets. Very welcoming, spacious, friendly! I like how everything was labeled to help find and use some of the amenities. Huge backyard, close to restaurants and shops. Would definitely like to visit again!

We’ve stayed at several short-term rentals, and this was the cleanest one I have ever been in. Claire was very friendly and responsive. The neighborhood wasn’t the greatest, but this property was very comfortable at a fantastic price.

We loved our stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and so thoughtfully decorated—it felt warm and intentional rather than just another rental. One of our favorite touches was the hand-drawn neighborhood map on the whiteboard with local recommendations. After a long day of driving, we took a walk around the nearby river and neighborhood lake, which was exactly what we needed. It was the perfect place to recharge on our road trip, and we'd happily stay here again.

My two dogs and I had a relaxing, cozy stay while our house was being renovated. The furniture and decor was super comfy! Our host was very helpful, and responsive. The coffee shop and bakery, and restaurants nearby made for easy and yummy meals.

Great stay and location! Claire provided everything we would need for a weekend stay, the yard was so much fun for our pups. We would absolutely stay again when we come back to DSM.

The house is adorable. Love the decor and the furniture is cute and comfy. Lots of extras provided, including blankets. I always bring my comforter because most places have thin blankets. Not only are there comforters on the beds, but a stack of extras in the closet. Also, a stack of throw blankets in the living room. All the comforts of home! Our son is going to Drake, so I'm sure we will stay here again. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay! House was very comfortable and homey, perfect for a weekend trip! Claire was very accommodating for a late checkout and was very quick to answer any messages. Loved the place!

Was a great place. Comforts of home with extra features to use during your stay. I would recommend the Iowa taphouse for a casual meal and to experience local brews.

Claire's VRBO home - Tiger Cove - was perfect for mine and my daughter's girls trip! The pull out was firm enough for my daughter's back pain, and the king sized bed was perfect to spread out in! The laundry in the basement was very convenient. There are tags everywhere for ease of stay. Would book again if I'm in Des Moines! 5 stars!

A comfortable place in a quiet neighborhood. The previous renter apparently took the remote for the bedroom TV; the host messaged me at soon as they find out and worked diligently to get a replacement ahead of my stay. I didn't need it, but I appreciate their effort in trying to make it right. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, and utensils. The appliances are all fairly new and in good working order. Would stay here again.
