Overall stay was good! What we first walked into though was…not good. The house was a complete mess with dirty laundry and wet towels laying around, plugged sink and dirty dishes. Reached out to owner who sent cleaner over but we had arrived and then had to leave for a couple hours for the cleaners to come and clean the whole house. Communicating was good and it was taken care of but a little frustrating to first walk into and then have to leave right away. Otherwise things were pretty good

I hate leaving this review, but this was the filthiest place I’ve ever rented. We even left a night early because it was so gross. The tile on the kitchen floor was permanently stained, smudges all over the appliances, oven was very dirty, torn paper liners in cabinets, one piece of food stuck in sink drain, old sponges in sink, etc. The upstairs bathroom was remodeled poorly with dirt and mold on the floor and floor trim. House vents were covered with dust. Lots of stains on carpeting. Poor interior paint job on walls and trim with lots of wear and tear. Exterior paint peeling on entire side of house. The place feels like one do it yourself, first time short-term rental with work done by owner or friends, but not professionals. On a positive note, communication with the property manager was good. He was responsive and helped me repeatedly get inside as I had issues with the locking device.

Enjoyed a two night stay at this property. Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Nice space to play board games, watch movies, shoot pool and visit. Property manager was attentive.

Overall it was a good experience. Upon our arrival we found: air conditioning was turned on with 2 windows open, dirty towels in the laundry room, only one coffee pod left, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, supply closet door was open and unlocked, no kitchen towels. The entry code supplied did not work, but the property manager rectified that situation. It was nice for our family gathering, but the patio furniture was dirty and the yard was not optimal for kids to play in .

We just needed a place to stay for a family funeral north of Des Moines. This place was located close to all the things we needed for our trip. A couple of things were missing, but our host quickly supplied those things. It was a very pleasant stay and would recommend to others!

The location Was great.The only minor complaint I would have were the beds are overly firm, Or if the outside patio furniture had cushions! Otherwise the location was great.The property owner was amazing

Our host was great, very responsive to questions and communication. House was what we expected. We didn’t know anything about the area and it seems like it’s in transition but the street the house is on is nice. Would stay here again, it met our needs perfectly.

Our stay was fine, queen size beds would be nice, but the doubles were ok. Otherwise everything was fine, we are easy to please.

Inside the house was nice and clean but the outside could use a little work. There was trash in the backyard which was taken care of by the owner once he was made aware of it. Also I found a pile of dog droppings mixed in the cedar chips which is not inviting. But it did have a working washer and dry plus plenty of room for my family. Plus we found wonderful frozen custard near by.

Dan, our host, thought of absokutely everything we would need home from home. The house is beautifully decorated with THE most confortable beds. This is our go to home whenever we come to Des Moines and I cannot recommend the property more highly

Dan was a great host! He let me know when he or his team were coming to cut the grass, take care of outdoor trash etc The house was larger than I expected The street is a dead end street far from the highway so there is no road noise. The mattresses are firm

Our children are now scattered from Lincoln NE to Iowa City IA so we decided to meet in a somewhat central location to celebrate the holidays. This home is nicely kept. Has 4 beds plus 2 large sectionals. The owner was very responsive.

Our family stayed here for the weekend for a Drake football game. It is a great location. It if a very comfortable home and had everything that we needed to cook our meals for the weekend. We would absolutely stay here again in the future.

The property is really nice. The only downside is parking if you have multiple vehicles. The street is very narrow. Otherwise it was perfect for the weekend that we stayed!

Our party of 8 had a great trip for Junior Olympics! The space was very clean, organized, and well equipped with everything we needed We had plenty of room for 5 adults a couple of very tall teens. Dan, the host was awesome! Very accommodating, easy to reach and helpful. The location was perfect as we were only a 10 minute drive from the YMCA and never experienced any issues with traffic or congested areas. Our group made great memories on this trip and will defiantly return for the next event!

We stayed overnight after weekend soccer and downtown gala. The house looks new with fresh decor and nice amenities from top to bottom. We enjoyed having two bathrooms, lots of tvs, as well as upstairs living room and downstairs family room. It was nice to have separate areas for adults and kids. Nice sized kitchen and dining table. We didn't use the washer/dryer but it was nice to know it was there if we needed it. Parking for two in the driveway but lots of street parking. The only downside was firm mattresses when I love plush. We reserve again.

Grocery store within walking distance, restaurants all within a 15-20 minute drive. Close to downtown for events at Hyvee Hall and Fargo Arena. Comfortably fit 10 in this space sleeping and relaxing space to sprawl out.
