Stayed here for a couple of nights in March and had a great experience. The house was spacious, well laid out, well stocked (kitchen essentials, pool towels, etc.), and very clean.The pool was fantastic—especially with temperatures reaching around 100F during our stay—and the AC works very well, which made a big difference.Check-in and check-out were smooth and easy, and Mariam was responsive and communicative throughout.Would definitely stay here again if I’m back in the area.

This was the perfect house to stay in with our two families, 5 children, and two dogs! The grassy yard was lovely, and the layout of the house worked well for our big group. There's just a little deferred maintenance (the bathtubs could use a re-caulking)- also, the kitchen could use a few more items, but for the most part, it was well-stocked!

Host was fantastic, personable, friendly, easy to reach for questions or assistance. The house was great, well-stocked and comfortable. The best feature by far was the private backyard with a beautiful pool and spa. Incredible, unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains.

Mariam was a great host, very responsive and welcoming. The house had basic amenities and we enjoyed having large backyard for the 6 of us and our two dogs who enjoyed the nice grass and plenty of room to run around.

Loved the pool and hot tub. It's time for a refresh on the noodles, which have been folded and flattened over their use. Family had a great time though the game selection was pretty minimal. Fortunately we had brought our own.The kitchen is fully equipped to the extent that there were ample cups and plates, cooking implements, and spices. What it missed was a water pitcher, any kinds of oils/vinegars/condiments, or tea selections (there were 8 black/green tea bags for a rental that accommodates more than a dozen). We only had 6 people but we rented for three days. Plan to bring your own.There were no bathmats and no mats to prevent dragging the outside in. There was only one kitchen towel (?!).The dryer was squeaky. The blender didn't hold liquid and the over-stove lamp in the kitchen was burned out. The refrigerator air filter was showing that it needed to be replaced when we arrived and on the second morning it started beeping incessantly.One of the bedroom lamps didn't work and another of the bedroom lamps had a short. We switched things around and were able to get at least one of the two working, but it just seems like if we're paying as much as we did, things should work. We can't have been the first people to have brought these items to the host's attention, can we? I think the only thing I didn't communicate directly was the subpar stocking of the kitchen, which is just a thing I have.We'll def not stay here again.

Amazing house with great amenities close to Palm Springs!!

My friends and I had an amazing stay at Mariam’s house!! It was absolutely beautiful inside. She has a huge open floor plan in the front with a nice kitchen and really comfortable sofas. The bedrooms were really nice, and we enjoyed the jet tub in the master bedroom. The beds were comfy and everyone slept well. We LOVED the jacuzzi and enjoyed stargazing in the backyard. Mariam was quick to respond to any questions and was a really generous host. We will absolutely book with her again the next time we go to Palm Springs!

Three generation family time

The house was immaculate and the property was exactly as described Our host Mariam was helpful with questions and easy to contact. She checked in with us the day after arriving to ensure we had everything we needed.We loved the swimming pool and spacious backyard.We spent most of our day in the pool and the spa.The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were incredibly comfortable.Our family had a wonderful time and we would definitely book again.

Great fun at a lovely home with beautiful backyard

This home had all the fixings for a great time. Lots of space for family and friends with 4 bedrooms. Outdoor fire pit barbecue really beautiful pool and spa. We brought food to prepare our own meals and also went out for dinner as well. A short trip to visit Palm Springs and then back to relax in the spa. The owner was easily accessible, lovely to work with and helpful with our questions. We would definitely go back for another getaway.

Pool covered in algae

Overall, the property was fantastic, clean, comfortable, and as described. Very comfortable for a birthday 2-night weekend away with friends. However, the pool was so dirty that many guests felt uncomfortable going in. Algae coated the filter, walls, and floor, and the water was green and murky, making the pool floor invisible. Some guests still went in the water, but others avoided dunking their heads. They also said the floor was slimy, which altogether was a significant issue since I booked the place *for* the pool. I reached out to the manager after checkout, offering thorough photos and requesting a partial refund. She declined my request and images, citing that I did not alert her during my stay and said, “We clean the pool every Friday and Monday and treat it with all the necessary chemicals and chlorine; also, the pool was cleaned on your arrival date. If we had known, we would have sent the pool man over right away.” A murky, green pool with an invisible floor was clearly not cleaned earlier that day. Plus, I didn’t notify the host on Saturday because I didn’t want to interrupt my/my guests’ one full day of relaxation by having to coordinate service coming in. Her refusal to look at my pictures or offer assistance because I didn’t notify during my stay felt silly and dismissive, but I understand VRBO may have such rules. She refunded the $30 charge for our requested late checkout, however. The rest was perfect, so I still recommend. But check in about the pool!

Relaxing birthday Getaway

I had a wonderful weekend here with my adult children and their husbands and my 8 year old son. Everything was exactly how it looked in pictures. We used the pool all day and bbq. Just had everything we needed, was perfect. Only 1 thing I’d recommend in the summer time would be for owner to put some umbrellas near pool, it’s very hot and no wear to lay out! Thank you

Perfect home for a getawway

I am beyond happy with our stay in this home. It is very beautifully built and designed and is perfect for a big group like ours that we stayed in. Mariam was very kind and responsive when we would reach out. The amenities were really nice and useful. The background was spacious and equally as beautiful. Beautiful Backyard Views

A great location for splitting time at Joshua Tree NP and Palm Springs/Indian Wells. We enjoyed outdoor dinners, mountain view sunsets, and stargazing from the spa.
