We had a great stay! The condo was spacious and the location very convenient. Pool was smaller than expected (very shallow so not exciting for older kids) and one hot tub was unavailable due to construction and the other was broken for most of the trip which was a bummer. The washer and dryer in the unit didn’t work which was inconvenient but the owners had extra towels delivered for us which we appreciated greatly. They were very responsive to our needs! The private beach was fantastic but I wish the shuttle ran longer so we could have sat on the beach for sunsets. Having the boardwalk right there with 5 teenagers and a 8 yr old was perfect! The view was beautiful but be aware there is a lot of traffic noise if you are looking for something quieter while sitting on the balconies. Didn’t bother us at all though as we were always on the go. Lots of stuff was walkable. Visiting Crab Island is a must!! We would for sure visit and rent here again

The pool was nice. The hot tub wasn’t available while we were there. It looked to be under construction. The room was good. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of space for our two families vacationing together. The bunk beds were a nice touch for our kids. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

I would stay here again and again. a beautiful condo, comfortable and spacious. We had 7 very large adults here and found it to be awesome!!!! Owner, Ron was great to deal with and hotel staff were great. Bell hop was amazing!!! However, I will not ever book through VRBO again, they are aweful. They under booked my stay (thank goodness Ron could fix it) and they overcharged me and took forever to credit it.

Was a great place to stay, came with everything you would need , home away from home. Great view of Crab Island from the condo, enough bathrooms and beds for a large family. Check In was easy , the owners responded to questions I had prior to the stay. There is not direct beach access and this was stated by the owners , you take a shuttle over to the private beach that runs every half hour. Thank You for sharing your home.

It was nice pool and hot tub was amazing the towel sercive was a huge plus never had to get your beach towels wet room view was amazing only thing have to say about it is if you cook and want to save your stuff bring some Tupperware only down fall here for us definitely would stay here again.

So much to do close to property.

Beautiful property in the middle of everything. Staff and grounds were impeccable. We never left once we checked in and we ate at the local restaurants...so good!! We had a great view of the bridge, harbor and sunsets and we watch the fireworks from the hotel hot tub. One of the best vacations we've had!

It was a nice property it stated beach front so I did expect it to be a beach you could walk out to on one side but you had to take a boat or car to. I did not see a lot of the stuff that was property offered to participate in for where you stayed that was available to do. I think the place would benefit from sending text alerts when you check in of things to check out and where some of the action is happening. Would not recommend Margitville the only nice person was the man on the stilts. Everyone else did not want to be there.

We have stayed at this complex many times, and stayed in various units. We love the location and you really never have to leave once you get there. Communication with the owner was slow so if you need an answer in a hurry. You’re out of luck. But all in all its good

Great place to stay !

This place was perfect for my family ! We will be returning to the same place ! No car needed , we could walk everywhere ! I came home and bought those most comfy pillows that were in our master suite ! All you need to do is stock more toilet paper in the bathrooms and this place would be perfect for all who stay here ! Thanks for the wonderful stay at your place ! Just perfect for what we all needed . We will be back in the near future :)

Fishing trip

This was an awesome we arrived and did not have to drive again. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Amenities we great. Beach access was easy. Only problem was we did not have ice or water due to the water filter in the refrigerator was split the entire stay.

Review

I would give the owner five star because they were simply amazing. Emerald Grande employees were absolutely terrible. We arrived and they claimed they didn't have my reservation and told me to contact VRBO and my CC company to get my money back. Meanwhile I had two small kids and a boat in tow in the parking lot, groceries being delivered, had just drove 5 hours, in tears thinking I had nowhere for my family to stay, the staff were ugly as can be. Thankfully the owner was super responsive and handled it with grace. As for the cleanliness, which again is the responsibility of Emerald Grande, they are not keeping the property clean. It was as if someone had just lived there and the sheets were the only thing clean. The floors and bathrooms were pretty gross. Also prepare to wait for elevators for up to 20 minutes during busy season. They definitely didn't add enough elevators when building. Sad that such a beautiful property is not being kept up.
