Yes, they communicated very well with us and the condo was just as we expected with a fantastic view from the balcony. Loved being so close to the beach. Condo was very clean and we had a great week there!

3rd year at Sterling Shores

Testament to a positive experience is repeat busy…all have been good but this was the best unit yet, and we have booked again for next year!

Beautiful location, needs a few things

The view from this unit is beautiful. It’s an easy walk across the street to the beach. The pool is nice, there is not a hot tub at this property. On the beach the rental chairs and umbrellas take up all of the view and front spaces if you bring your own. There are no beach towels or chairs to use in this unit so you’ll need your own. We had to set up on the 3rd row of seating and it was hard to watch the kids in the water. The unit was fairly clean. I will say that inside the dishwasher was absolutely disgusting and the washer could be cleaner as well. Probably two things that get overlooked. I ended up hand washing any dishes we used to eat because the dishwasher was so dirty and it also did not clean well, probably because of all the build up. I do wish we had access to some type of vacuum to keep the sand up during the week. The TVs in the bedroom could be bigger but we didn’t spend much time watching tv. Most places we have stayed have smart TVs so the kids can watch Netflix or Disney+, these are not smart TVs but they did have a dvd player if you use dvds. The master bedroom mattress was not comfortable to us. Overall we had a great vacation and this was a nice property but a few things could be improved.

Sterling shores is in a great location.

I think the grounds of the property could have been much cleaner. Also, the room i stayed in was okay, it needs an upgrade on living room sofas. Looks very dirty. Everything else is okay. With Covid still being a factor needs to be furniture you can wipe down. The sofas are very worn out the fabric.

Very nice

This property was very nice and clean and the view was amazing! The sofa is a little worn but overall very comfy and nice condo! I would definitely book this room again!

Love Sterling Shores. Second time staying here.

Only complaint was that the main pool was not being heated all week. Most of the guests spent time at the small pool by the beach. I heard many guest have issues with this.

Sterling Shores is a scam

We are kind enough to let them know we left a day early so they can clean the condo for the next guest. They want to charge us $15 a person for rubber bracelets that we wore that they gave us while we were on the property. Unbelievable. I don’t understand why you would ever even consider charging someone $15 fur a rubber bracelet. We had no idea of the charge. The homeowners association needs to change this policy.Terrible way to treat customers

September 2018 Stay

This was our first stay in Destin and we absolutely loved it! The condo was immaculate and just as it was pictured. The staff here at Sterling Shores keep everything so well kept- we hardly ever saw them but you could tell everything was constantly addressed. The whole place is gorgeous- we will always choose Sterling Shores for our future stays in Destin and have already recommended to friends back home. Thank you for letting us stay- one of our favorite vacations thus far! Also, I can’t imagine there is a more beautiful condo than the one we stayed in.. we are sad to leave it.

We lived our stay at Sterling Shores!

We have stayed at sterling shores for about 7 years and this has been our favorite 2 bedroom so far!! Everything was great. Comfortable beds and plenty of room. Just wish there had been a bigger skillet for cooking and a regular coffee pot. We had to use 2 small skillets to cook and bought a coffee pot at Walmart.

Georgous Condo

We had a fabulous time in Destin. This condo was amazing! Everything was clean and high-end. My teenage children loved the pool as the deepest part was 5 feet. They floated on their boogie boards and I never worried about them. A quick walk across a service road gained us access to another smaller pool which provided us a quieter atmosphere. The beach was stunning! We had a front row view under our umbrella to the most amazing blue waters. After a hot day, it was relaxing to cook dinner in our full kitchen and eat in the condo. No need to get dressed up and wait at a restaurant. If cooking is not your thing, restaurants are not walkable from Sterling Shores and traffic is heavy in July. Two grocery stores are very close by. We found a few items that would have been helpful to have in the condo: hairdryer, skillet, and a pizza cutter. Other than that, we had everything we needed.

Great time in a great place!

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The apartment is beautiful and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. Everything is even more beautiful than what is shown in the pictures. We would love to go back to Destin and stay here again.

This condo is great. Very short walk to beach and a great restaurant. Really enjoyed the two pools, grilling area and the wait service while on the beach. Only problem had the app did not give code for pool/beach gates and found out on last day that beach set up came with condo.

Awesome!

We celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary and these guys really made us feel special. We received complimentary drink holders while at the beach with our beach chairs and umbrella. Our room was clean, updated, spectacular view of the beach and a VERY short walk to the beach. Pool area was great, the restaurant across the street was delicious and a short walk from us. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Wonderful condo. Clean and nicely decorated. Unit looks exactly like the pictures. Great ocean view. A 5 min or less walk to the beach. Only one small issue. It rained several days when we were there. Rain started to leak through the ceiling around one of the recessed lights in front of the refrigerator. It occurred early morning before the office opened. We called the after/ before hours number. Some one called back immediately and told us that they would have the maintenance service to come over and fix the problem. They came by when we were out. They needed additional items to repair the leak. Not sure if it ever got fixed. However, it was not a issue for us because it stopped raining. Hope that it is repaired for future guest. Again, wonderful unit. Great customer service by the staff. I would definitely stay there again pending the leak being repaired.
