Great place

What an amazing place to stay with the family. Everything is so close: location is on the beach, across the street is Chick-fil-A, arcades are 3 mins away for kids to have fun, the boardwalk - 5 mins. Couldn’t pick a better place for our vacation. Plus the rate is very reasonable compared to other places we’ve considered nearby. Overall: we would highly recommend this property to others, and hopefully will be back ourselves soon.

My family’s been going to Silver Dunes year after year. There’s no better place to stay! We feel safe, feel like family, George, down on the beach takes care of you, like I said, wouldn’t take my family anywhere else.

The unit is beautifully furnished with great amenities.

4th of July Week Stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Had a great experience for our stay at Silver Dunes the week of July 4th. Was a little rocky at first because for 8 years we have been hauling our stuff in a small trailer. We are 7 families that go that week, to only learn we could not park it there no more. Next year we just won't bring one. I understand new and old policies are being enforced not, which is fine. I just think you need to give people who have been booking year after year a chance to adhere to these rules and be aware of them. I understand it is on the confirmation and website but when you attend a place you have been doing year after year, you just take certain things for granted. I do not want my name displayed at all on my review.

I do miss the towel service at Silver Dunes used to provide but we made do with what we have. This is our fourth year staying in this unit and we have been pleased every year. We will be back again next year.

Great Beach Memories with the Family

Love the new sofa and chair. Would love to see the bedroom spreads and fraying carpet updated as well as patio furniture that’s rusting. Ceiling fan in bedroom needs an adjustment. Love being on the ground floor. Parking is perfect. Grounds and pool aren’t as clean as they have been in the past. George and David were amazing as always! It’s where we try to stay every year and make great beach memories with our family.

July 2018 Vacation is Destin

Parking was directly out our door. The pool and laundry facility was very handy - just a few steps out our patio door. We loved being on the first floor, however, our neighbors above were a little loud. Staff was friendly and reservations were made easy. Loved the gated condo's. Make us feel a little more safe. We did have a little walk to the beach/ocean, but the grassy area was nice. Condo was clean, but just needed a little TLC. Some torn carpet in one bedroom and a range burner not working. These items are minor and I am sure will be fixed by next season. We found a few beach toys in the outside storage area which was a nice plus. Would stay in this condo again and definitely stay again at this resort.

Two Retirees Social Distancing at the Beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: D100 is another one of our favorite condos to stay in. This year it had a horrible smell- a mixture of paint, new furniture or new carpet kind of smell. It would have been nice for the AC to have been left on to keep the air circulating. That smell permeated everything we brought with us. I still smell it in my car. Otherwise, we appreciated the updates, the location, the cleanliness. Because of COVID-19, we did not go out to eat at all. We sheltered in place and did not interact with others much, only from a distance. We love the clean, new pool furniture, We missed George, but the new beach service was attentive and friendly. We had to cut our trip short by a week unfortunately. But it was time to shelter at home. We were refunded our money for the week we canceled thankfully. Silver Dunes shut down the day after we left.
