The kids loved the grass area to play.The unit was as described. No complaints.

The very accommodating beach personnel and the lack of crowded beach is a huge plus.

Reviewer Comments: First off we were so happy to have been able to make the trip with everything that is happening in the world right now.The only things I would like to bring to your to attention is One it would be very nice if our unit has a hose attached to the outside spicket. Two we have been coming to Silver Dunes for over 30 years and the towel situation is just so frustrating. Rates don't go down but amenities get worse every year. I had 6 people in my room and for the ONE time towel trade I only got 4 clean big towels. I don't enjoy having to use more money and my time cleaning towels. If every unit had a washer in dryer that would be different. It is just really upsetting. And we really missed George and the way he runs the beach. But never the less we will be back again next year.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are big fans of Silver Dunes. Love the space on the beach, (love George) and the location. We prefer the walk out unit we have stayed in for years. It is well appointed. There was a large broken window that has been there for a year that really should be fixed as it does impact the view from the kitchen. Used to be a better deal economically. It is not a high end place, but was a great place for the cost. Not sure that will be the case going forward. Missed the free towel service and seems like new management is imposing higher costs/less amenities/less flexibility which is a shame. Still, we will go back as it is our spring break "home".

We had only 2 people in our condo so bath towels were not an issue this time. We normally have 6 and that would of been a problem. I don't want to spend my vacation doing towels. Had a wonderful time.

The only thing I did not like was the laundry room was quite a walk and you still have to pay, and then on top of that the change machine was out order. The thing I really loved that the beach was very close. It’s a little overpriced in my opinion but you are near the beach.

Condo was perfectly located near pool, beach, activities. Loved the ground floor.

Excellent! Had many other nearby condo renters wanting to book this condo for next year because of floor plan and accessibility to everything. Would definitely book again.

Super expensive hotel room?

We enjoyed our stay but the condo was very small and cramped for the five of us. I have no idea how 8 people can sleep in the three beds, so one of us had to sleep on the couch. Also this is more like a hotel than a personally owned home. No spices etc and cookware was sparse. There was no washer/dryer and when I walked to the laundromat there was no change machine?? Once I made it back the laundry soap dispenser was completely out- took $3.00 of my hard earned quarters to figure that out. Had to go back out again for tide pods.. The beds weren’t the worst we’ve ever slept on but they were pretty terrible. My kids who usually love the beach hated the crowded conditions and asked to go home two days early. Also, I guess I got this rental mixed up with others I’d looked at, but there were no free chairs with this rental. Those cost $40 a day and the company took over the entire beach- good luck bringing your own chairs etc, you’ll be in the back. It’s hard to find something positive to say about the rental. It was very clean and the decor was nice. Next time I’ll spend more time reading the fine print.
