Our stay had some positives, but started off as a very frustrating experience due to poor communication. We didn’t receive check-in information until they reached out asking for additional payment for wristbands—despite the VRBO listing clearly stating that six wristbands are included. Check-in was a hassle. We arrived just before 5 p.m. and spent about 90 minutes trying to get in touch with someone for help. After several calls, my husband was finally able to speak with a kind gentleman at the condo who helped us locate our check-in packet in a locked office—something that should have been placed in the unit for after-hours arrival. The condo itself looks like the photos, but it could use some attention on a couple things. The sheets had sand at the foot when we went to bed, there was a significant amount of mold on a kitchen ceiling vent and bathroom tiles, and the living room furniture was uncomfortable—the couch needs steam cleaned. Both bedrooms are at the front of the unit where there’s quite a bit of noise from traffic. The windows also let in a lot of light from the exterior hallway; blackout curtains would make a big difference. The patio furniture was in poor condition and felt unsafe to use, so we didn’t spend time out there. Not much to do for kiddos in the condo itself. On a positive note, the location is convenient to many attractions, and the pool and beach areas are nice. Beach chairs and umbrellas set up cost extra, not part of wristband amenities.
