Me gustó mucho la ubicación del complejo, tiene a su alrededor excelentes parques temáticos para todas las edades, tiendas de souvenir, y una gran variedad de restaurantes. Algo que no me gusto es que no pudimos sentarnos nunca en el porche del apartamento porque los Rain Bird o rociadores de agua para el cesped estan muy cerca de las sillas y en la mañana y en la tarde se activan mojando completamente a cualquiera que intente sentarse en el porche.

Just right

The rain shower was amazing. It was one of the cleanest places I think we have ever stayed. It’s cute and the pictures are very accurate. There were a couple of issues and we notified the owners so hopefully they can address them. The location is great. We could walk to several different restaurants and there’s lots of shopping close by.

Best place we’ve stayed at in Destin

My wife and I were celebrating our 20yr anniversary. The day of our arrival I asked could they get a bouquet of flowers for my wife before we got there. Before I could message anything else, they had already gotten a beautiful bouquet of roses for her. When we got there, the directions to the place were very easy to follow. The place was stacked! Any amenity you could think of, they had. Huge TVs in both the bedroom and the living room and a nice electric fireplace. We watched the Alabama and LSU game and had a couples tailgate party! Just my wife and I had this beautiful place to ourselves and went back in time. The patio is huge and it’s located next to everything. I just can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed this place. When it was time to leave, we didn’t want to go so we asked could we extend our stay. Thank God they had the availability to extend our stay! I saw later that they ask for you to have that discussion before hand since they can have a booking right after yours. But they were very responsive and gave us a discounted additional day. We will probably exclusively stay here on our future visits.

Clean & Comfortable Stay

We were so impressed with our stay at Cool Azul. The kitchen was fully equipped and had a large refrigerator and other nice appliances. The unit was very nicely furnished and had a comfortable bed and sofa. Nice T.V. and bath towels. Will definitely be back!

Very quiet secluded condo

The place is at the back of property and was very quiet until ppl came upstairs and it sounded like a herd of elephants. The floors were so dirty, our feet turned black. I bought a dust mop just to endure the floors without deep scrubbing them. The ad states its a 5 min walk to beach but that wasn't true, it is however a 5 minute drive. I loved that it was pet friendly and enjoyed the other guests, very friendly atmosphere. The kitchen is very well stocked with all kitchenware, including electric grill and air fryer, blender and coffee-epresso machine. The bathroom is very modern and had a huge tub!

Perfect for family w Child and Dog

We stayed Monday-Friday and had the best time. We come to Destin every few years. Since our last visit we got a dog. This place we perfect as there is grass areas and dog clean up areas. It’s also center to the area of Destin we like most. We forgot to bring our cooler and beach chairs and they had those available. We will definitely be back. Also the respond time and messages are above and beyond. Very helpful and quick to respond. We are sad to be leaving. We will see y’all next year.

Quaint Place

Cool Azul was overall a nice place to stay. While it was further away from the ocean than we were anticipating, being pet friendly and having beach accessories there for you was a huge plus.

It was perfect! Absolutely loved it!

Matthew and Sarah are so easy to message with the Vrbo app. They’re very nice! They have EVERYTHING you’d need! Blankets, Pillows, Sheets, Towels, etc. The kitchen is amazing! It has EVERYTHING! All the utensils 🍴, Plate-ware, Blender, Crock pot like thingy, Toaster, Electric flat top skillet thing, and so much more! It was PERFECT! They provided toiletries and lots of things. The neighbors were Super nice! We made lots of friends. There’s a pond. Three pools. One of them (the smaller one by the front desk office.) is heated. Matt and Sarah message you precisely at 4pm with the codes and everything you need to know. It’s a gated community. It’s Pet friendly. It’s also centered around a lot of stores. Walmart is less than 5 minutes away. It has a pullout couch (queen size bed) in the living room. A king bed in the bedroom with two twin trundle beds. The owners talked about noise and warned us about it. They have a noise maker thing in the bedroom that works well! And a box fan to keep the air circulating. Anyways. 5 ⭐️ We will definitely remember this place!

Great place to stay with an infant

Clean place, close to just about everything. They had a pack n play and high chair which was a huge plus so we didn't have to bring ours for our 7 month old. Great place to be able to get groceries and cook for your family. Overall a great experience, will be staying here again.

EXCELLENT PLACE FOR KIDS OR ADULTS

Experience was great !! THE ONLY negative I have to say which I don’t really think falls back on owners but the cleaners who came in who owners have to trust to do their full part was there was a severely snotty comforter left for us to use on pull out that we didn’t end up touching the entire time but other than that the other comforters left to use and sheets appear and smelled cleaned ! The place was loaded with things to do for our kids and my boys ages 5&6 didn’t want to leave the room and when we did just asked to go back to pay the foosball table that was incorporated into the coffee table! What a amazing addition! They played that thing for hours everyday! Everything else was extremely clean they had EVERYTHING necessary you could imagine plus some ! I Was so excited they had a air fryer we use it like crazy at home so we were happy to see they had one available and since we traveled for the holidays the crock pot was a HUGE bonus to ! We brought ours incase but it’s so good to know they have one now! We will most certainly be returning ! I can’t express enough how perfect this little piece of paradise this really was for us and our 3 kiddos ! We all fit more than comfortable here and it was a great location! Highly recommend to people with kids that don’t mind not staying right on the beach but have no issues driving 2 mins down the road to access the beach easily ! Truly enjoyed everything at the Cool Azul !

Just as listed

Enjoyed our stay Cool Azul. Property looked as great as the pictures on the listing. Loved the lighting, decor, sound machine, countertop ice maker and fuzbol game. The lighting from the exterior walkway shining in the bedroom window at night was the only thing I would change. There were blinds, but the room stayed pretty bright throughout the night. May be hard for someone who likes a dark room to sleep. We will definitely recommend and be back ourselves.

Why not

First time saying here, I unloaded my car and wanted to drank some water so I got a glass that was cracked and when to get ice but the ice making was broken. Lights in kitchen had cobwebs. When I tried to grill, it tripped the breaker. The batteries to the bedroom tv was out when we got there. The pool would close early at times. Additionally, the pool was much farther from the room than initially advertised. Homeless people by the dumpster kept scaring us.

Exactly as presented

The property looks just like the pictures online. Matthew is honest about the size, location, and expectations. Promptly at 4 pm, we received a message on how to check in. He sent a message later to make sure everything was going smoothly. When I mentioned a couple housekeeping items just so we wouldn't get charged for a light stain on the sofa and mini blinds that wouldn't roll open, he offered to remedy the situation immediately.

Vacation in Destin

Clean and very nice place to stay. We was walking distance to the beach and restaurants. We really enjoyed this condo it was very fun for kids. I loved how close everything was and it was pet friendly. I will definitely stay here again next year! Can’t wait to go back!!
