The villa was very spacious, clean and right by the pool! I highly recommend getting a villa if you have kids it’s just so convenient to be so close to the pool. The host are excellent and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

Family Vacation

We absolutely loved our stay here! As a family of 6, this condo provided excellent space with everything needed for a comfortable stay. No elevator/stairs to navigate with 4 kids is a huge perk. We loved spending time at the pool and this condo’s location near the pool was so convenient. Even though it was close to the pool, this condo was quiet. During our stay, we visited several area beaches. Our favorite was Henderson Beach State Park. There was a shuttle from the condo and it was within walking distance, however we chose to drive for convenience. This was our first time visiting Destin, and we will definitely be back.

Memorial day weekend

Spring break stay

This is our third year spending spring break in this area of Florida. This villa/condo was in excellent condition. The patio, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, dining area, and family room were all amazing. Nice furniture/decor, lots of storage, and everything was clean. We really enjoyed the open concept in the main living area. The wifi worked well. The Keurig coffee maker was awesome since my husband drinks several cups of K-cup coffee each day. We wished there were more towel bars and sturdy hooks to hang bath towels and beach towels. Maybe some hooks could be added to the laundry room? We were so disappointed that the large pool was NOT heated, especially since this condo was advertised as having a "heated pool" in the listing title and description. The pool shown in all of the photos is not heated. The small pool that is heated was not shown in the listing photos. The large pool, baby pool, and splash pad were all too cold to use (we only saw a few people use them during our entire stay). The small heated pool was incredibly crowded and had very strong chemicals in it that burned our eyes and skin. The hot tub and heated pool were closed multiple times each day. We were very disappointed by this! We spent lots of time at the local beaches since the pool was so cold, and the hot tub and heated pool were closed so much. Our favorite beach was Henderson Beach State Park--lots of space with soft, clean sand. There were lots of great restaurants and shops nearby.

February Getaway

We had a fabulous stay. Joe Lemke has a wonderful property and is an amazing host. Laura made everything super simple. Our door was literally steps from the heated pool and hot tub. The area was very easy to get around, and there was so much to do. Excellent stay!

Destin Getaway

Our group consisted of two retired couples. Our week-long stay was relaxing and very enjoyable. Laura, our contact for the property, was very attentive and thorough while preparing us for the stay. The property was beautiful and perfect for our needs. The only thing missing were two pillow cases and some hot pads. The walk from the parking lot to our unit was further than we would have preferred, but the exercise was exactly what we needed. Hopefully we will be able to return to The Palms sometime in the future.

Spacious Villa and Convenient Location

The Villa was a great size for our family of 6. We enjoyed the 2 bedroom layout and the king size beds were a great bonus. Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient and the owner was very responsive with any concerns we encountered. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub during our stay. Location was perfect to get to the beach or any shop within minutes.

Beautiful Resort and Condo

This was the perfect property for my wife and I in Destin. The check-in process was very easy with great communication before, during and after. Condo was very close to the hot tub and heated pool area and convenient to restaurants, shopping needs and the beach. We particularly enjoyed Pompano Joe's and McGuire's restaurants. Property is highly recommended by us.

AMAZING

This villa is amazing!!! It was close to everything including the beach! The pool is just footsteps away from the door. We never heard anyone outside not even the traffic. We will definitely be booking again for each time we visit Destin again! Cant wait to go again. Thanks so much for an awesome safe place to stay.

Dirty and disgusting

After missing our 10th Anniversary trip to the Dominican due to Covid, we booked a week reservation to stay in your Villa for our 11th anniversary trip. We spent over $#### for a 6 night stay in a Villa that I will give you…was in great proximity to the pool, but, very heavily lacked cleanliness. Before our arrival, we were sent instructions outlining to treat the Villa with upmost care…don’t wear shoes, don’t take carts inside to keep the walls and carpeting nice. Totally understand. Upon arrival, the first thing we noticed were the carpeting stains directly by the front door, then more between the kitchen and the laundry room. My wife then walked into the main bedroom bath and immediately saw what looked like a “BROWN” substance stain/streak running from the toilet seat to the base of the toilet in the front…which we could only assume to be human excrement. She then went to the other bath containing the walk in shower and the same “BROWN” substance stain/streak was also down the front of that toilet. My wife donned rubber gloves and spent the next 15 minutes on her hands and knees cleaning the toilets that should have been clean before ANY guest arrived. Some start to our $#### Anniversary vacation stay in this Villa. Because of the cleanliness issues of the bathrooms, it left us wondering what else was not CLEAN….and this is what we found – The stove top was covered in dirt when a Lysol Wipe was run over it. The bath containing the walk in shower has black mold growing in it – which is causes HUGE breathing issues when the particles are inhaled – which will happen during a shower. The shower also contained long black hairs on the seat and a reddish brown substance on the wall. The shower had not been cleaned in some time to have BLACK MOLD growing in it and obviously had not even had water run it to remove any existing hairs when it was “CLEANED”. The sliding glass door had toddler prints on the inside on the lower portion of the glass showing it had not been wiped off in who knows how long – but obviously not CLEANED before our stay. At this point, we do not know what is clean and what is NOT clean, so we spent the next 2 hours cleaning your villa that was to be cleaned prior to our stay – stripping off sheets and comforters, not knowing if they had been washed before our arrival, cleaning every surface with disinfectant and Lysol spray. Certainly not a way to start off an Anniversary vacation that we had waited 2 years for.

Celebrated our friends wedding

We had a great time in the area and on the property. The pool area was really nice. The “single chair bed” isn’t really comfortable— our group wasn’t able to use it. Other than that, the unit was great! The property manager was also very nice and gave us a lot of suggestions for places to try!

Beautiful Condo

We loved our stay at this property. It was very clean and nice. We loved that it was right by the pool and hot tub. The accommodations were great. We were just a very short drive to Henderson state beach. I’d also like to add that the property owner went above and beyond when I left some of my things behind- they tracked it down for me and mailed it back to me. I was so appreciative.
