If houses could hug, this one would. Miss Millie's is a beautiful three bedroom in Destin where every detail was considered. The hosts are incredible communicators who made us feel cared for before we even arrived.The house itself is stunning. It is not the generic beach rental look. It is the most unique, gorgeous, beachy decor I have seen, with loads of personal touches in every single room. You can feel the love that went into it. Coastal art, collected shells, comfy throws, thoughtful books, it felt curated, not staged.And we truly wanted for nothing. I mean nothing. The kitchen was better stocked than my own at home, coffee area, spices, oils, blender, the works. Beach chairs, cooler, wagon, toys and extra beach towels. And the six seater golf cart was a total game changer for cruising to the beach and grabbing ice cream at sunset.As a dog mom to Jax, I especially appreciated how pet friendly it was. Seeing the photos of their dogs, and Miss Millie herself, made it feel like we were staying with fellow dog lovers, not just in a rental. Jax was welcomed like family from the moment we walked in, and he settled right in as if it were his house too.Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We left a piece of our hearts there, and Jax left a few nose prints on the door to prove it :)

Loved our stay! Beautiful open living area, which connects right into a lovely sun room. Kitchen is massive, and fully stocked with anything you could need, including a blender, pots/pans, measuring cups, etc. The outdoor space was private and much larger than it seemed in images. Bedrooms are spacious with ample windows and comfortable beds. A high-quality home decorated with lots of charm.The neighborhood felt like it was plucked out of a storybook. Friendly neighbors. Quiet and serene. Beautiful community pool, which never appeared busy—essentially had it to ourselves. The golf cart was a huge bonus! Could travel to the pool in seconds, the beach in under 5 min, and tons of great restaurants. Communication was seamless with the owners. They even accommodated a last minute additional nights stay. Would recommend staying here to anyone, and hope to stay here again!

Good Vacation spot

We had a great stay! The house is in a great location—just a short, easy walk to the beach. The neighborhood pool was amazing and definitely a highlight for us!Just a heads-up for future guests: the house didn’t have dish soap, laundry detergent, cooking seasonings, or extra toilet paper, so you’ll want to bring those essentials with you. Otherwise, everything was great and we enjoyed our time!

Annual Anniversary Getaway

This is our second year in a row staying at "Miss Ellie" and we couldnt have been happier. The home is beautiful and so well appointed we continue to be impressed year after year. The location to the beach and local shopping is perfect. We can't wait to come back again in 2026!

Peaceful

The house is close to shops and the beach. I really have nothing bad to say. There was a lot of room and loved that there were several sitting areas. I liked the enclosed area. The children would go there in the morning which helped not wake people up. If I had something to say would be that I didn’t realize there was not a hairdryer or salt and pepper. I ordered a Walmart delivery the next morning which was great!!

Best in Destin

This property was fantastic. Extra attention was given to the decor inside and out. Everything was perfect. Close to the beach and shopping. We called the property manager to replace a water filter in the fridge (minor issue I know) but it was addressed immediately. The AC was acting strange, ( taken care of immediately) This was truly a place that you could call home.I would recommend staying at Miss Ellie to anyone. I only wish it was available for our next trip to Destin.5 stars for sure

Lovely multi-family getaway

This was the perfect home for our multi-family reunion/vacay. The open layout is awesome for entertaining the family as well as having private time in the sunroom. 15 minute walk from the beach was doable but highly recommend you rent a golfcart to get around the lovely beach town. Our family had a wonderful time.

This place was absolutely incredible. The neighborhood is adorable and close walk to the beach. Decor was beautiful and kitchen necessities for cooking were abundant. We had the best time and hope to stay here again. You will not regret booking this place. It's perfect.

Home away from home

My family and I loooooved our stay at Miss Ellie's! It is spacious and cozy all at the same time. When we go out of town we love to check out local restaurants but also still enjoy making meals at home and that was so easy to do here! This kitchen had everything I needed. All of the furniture is very comfortable (beds, chairs, sofas) for a long stay. Such a quiet, calm and BEAUTIFUL neighborhood too! I would highly recommend this house to anyone and would love to go back one day too!

Nothing but Satisfied

Our family of 5 plus friend drove from SC (8hrs). This house was BEAUTIFUL. It has everything you need to enjoy a trip from home. Hot tub amazing!!! Short walk to beach & few houses down to pool. Pool was beautiful. I would rate this house 10X10. We all loved it so much.
