Great beach property

3rd floor was nice elevators were crowded. Patio and chairs and table were great for sitting outside. Closet full of beach chairs etc was so helpful to avoid renting chairs

Fall Break with Family

Other than extremely strict beach rules, we had an excellent stay. Room was great. Plenty room for 2 small families. Facility was nice. Loved the different pools and cafe/tiki bar. Location was perfect.

Great stay!

Property was great. Location can't be beat. Kids enjoy the beachfront access and the multiple pools/hot tubs. Will come back again.

AMAZING !

This is our 3rd year booking at this condo we love it the condo this year was beautiful the decor and the colors made it stand out cant wait to book our next year family vacation again. Not to mention the views it has deff recommend!

The Pelican never disappoints

We loved our stay. No where else can you find the amenities provided at Pelican Beach! We enjoy the tiki, cafe and beach chair rental! Our room was amazing with the extended balcony and extra storage with beach items to share. The views are terrific from this unit and it is decorated so cute. The space is comfortable and relaxing. We also love the centralized location with easy walk to shop, eat or go to the Track. The pools and hot tubs are wonderful, nothing but complimentary comments from us all. I love how safe it feels, Especially with our kids. We highly recommend!

Destin Vacation

This condo was very much as described. It was clean and reasonably appointed. Great location. Everything in the condo worked well, although they could spend a few dollars on new shower heads and it would be appreciated by every future guest. The Pelican Beach location was very nice. Great beach, great pools, a very nice poolside bar.

Nice condo!

Pros: Clean and nicely decorated Easy beach and pool access Food onsite Cons: Master bed was only ok(noisy) Don’t bother bringing shade because unless you want to sit six rows back from the water you can’t set it up. They definitely got you in making you rent their shade and chairs. No kitchen soap except dishwasher tablets Overall it was a great condo. Loved the rocking chairs on the balcony.

Paradise awaits

This was a fabulous unit. It was exactly as shown on the website and it had everything you need to feel at home. Only bad thing was kitchen had no spices. We are used to renting units with at least salt and pepper but it wasn’t a big deal to go buy it. The view from the balcony was amazing and the patio furniture was so comfy. We plan to return to Destin and will definitely book this unit. If you’re on the fence about renting this unit don’t wait you will not be disappointed!

We enjoyed our stay with our three Littles. Such great location to the beach and pools. The balcony overlooking the views were amazing. Loved that it was only on the third floor very quick and easy you can use the stairwell if needed. Bonus that we were not aware of are there are Beach supplies that they have in a closet that you were able to access with beach toys, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards. This was a surprise bonus for us. We flew down this time so we did not have many supplies for the beach and the kids. Also, we brought our own pack and play did not realize but they have a pack and play there as well, which is also very convenient. Very cute decor and such a great set up with the two rooms and the two bathrooms. We would definitely want to go back!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My swimsuit was stolen outside our room on the railing and they left the cover up, I contacted the host he reply with a rude text then I went to the front desk and they said they couldn’t help me because they dnt have cameras on that side,do not book room 312 nor any others,the elevators we’re slow and the lights in front of the elevator had bugs and spiderwebs on them which shows they dnt clean,it’s not worth the price. I have videos as well.

Condo interior was perfect and just as listed. Beautiful decorated and clean. Balcony is huge with a great view. I have no complaints about the condo itself. Pelican Beach resort had some very newly updated areas and then some areas that need updating like the rusty iron around the pools and other areas that need to be cleaned up. It’s definitely not luxury, but still good.This third floor unit hears a lot of noise from the pool below, which we expected. It was a little surprising how loud it was even with the doors and windows closed. The resort cleaning crew started with loud outdoor leaf blowers and a trim trimmers, and other projects at 7 AM. That wasn’t great for a vacation. We would have preferred to have beach towels and swimming towels included, plus more laundry and dish dishwashing detergent, toilet paper, plus basic seasonings available in the condo. It might only cost 15 more to provide those disposable items as an owner, and it’s a huge convenience to the renter. We would have preferred to have more make up wash clothe due to the strict warning of not staining. This particular condo does not include beach chairs, it includes the availability to purchase them. But you can use the beach toys and chairs in the closet to sit behind the rows of paid umbrellas and chairs. The sliding patio doors were large and very great for the view, but very hard to open. Not a complaint just a notice to the owners. Overall, a good booking

Do not stay in this unit or this resort (and my shoes got stolen)

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo only had 4 towels per bathroom which is inconvenient if you shower more than once a day and have 6 guests. The toaster is broken (burns your toast even on the lowest setting on the right side) there was only one large pot (luckily we brought our own rice cooker) The air conditioner never got below 74 degrees even when following all of the units instructions. There is no pantry to put your groceries in (so everything had to be on top of the counters) the shower head in the master bathroom is terrible if you are not a tall person. After check out they charged 100 dollars for damaged linens that did not look the same as when we left. As for the beach, there is security that walks around and doesn’t let you sit by the shore. If you have small kids this is not the place for you. We have always stayed at waterscape in Ft Walton but decided to give a different place a try due to thinking the water would be so much better and i can say it’s not worth it. Also they close the nice pool at 7:30 pm. So you are forced to move to a different pool. The provided vacuum didn’t work either. The elevators were smothering and took forever to get one. Getting your belongings into the condo were insane and inconvenient. You had to wait by someone’s car to get a cart. Lady at desk said that ppl keep them in there rooms. The washer and dryer in the unit was super miniature could only wash 3 towels at a time. We were told not to wipe up anything with kitchen towels or we would get charged (which we did not) but was still charged 100 dollars. Jets in hottub did not work. Was told by security that you can’t play music bc someone complained even when it was family friendly. Also can’t set up extra shade for your kids. Part of your group has to bake because they don’t want to mess up the esthetics which is crazy. It’s like 150 degrees outside Kids need shade. The toilets in the unit didn’t flush properly in both bat

It’s very clean, beautifully decorado, and a perfect size and a beautiful balcony with great views overlooking the pool and ocean. We loved that there was a washer and dryer in the unit, and one thing I would have loved to know before, is there was a pack and play there as well as sand toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrellas to be able to be used, which was an amazing bonus! I would’ve loved to know this because we packed our stuff.
