The house was extremely outdated. The first floor bed was broke. The ac was broke. The house smelt like gas. There was mold on the vents. Several lights were burnt out and didn’t work. We were extremely disappointed in this property.

The pool was dirty when we got there. we were charged 80 for one hour early check-in. The house is in bad need of repairs. Most of the rooms smelled of mold. The beds were horrible. The furniture was stained and dirty. There were workers there every day we were not able to sit by the pool and relax we could not get out of the driveway or in because of the trucks the Noise we had to put up with. There were insects upstairs in the bedroom. They were light fixtures hanging from the ceilings and mold everywhere.

MOLD

For starters - this is the first time I have ever left a negative review on a property. I’ll start by saying the location is absolutely perfect. Right on the beach. The complimentary beach service is great.But the house has a major mold problem. The suite on the second floor smelled SO badly of mold, that we couldn’t stay in it. The ceiling in the second floor bathroom is covered in black mold. I have pictures for proof. The air vents have mold in them. There is evident water damage in the garage, bathrooms, and kitchen ceilings. I contacted management to inform them of their negligence in letting families with young children (or anyone for that matter) stay here knowing there is a clearly evident mold problem. They sent someone out with nothing but a spray bottle in hand to “fix the mold”. Absolutely not.This would be a wonderful place if they would take the time to fix the problems and remediate the mold the RIGHT way.

Awesome place

This place is a great place to stay. We had fun at the beach and our private pool. Only thing I would ask is for better deck chairs that sit higher then the railing so you can look over the deck easier. Other then that, great place.

Perfect Location!

Perfect location on the beach and also walkable to some restaurants (and the mall). Super responsive managers -- they sent a person to fix a broken banister right away. You cannot beat the convenience of this place. It is a bit well-worn in places, but super comfortable and convenient.

Splendid Family Vacation

This was our favorite family vacation yet! The house location was perfect! Close to restaurants and bars! Right on the beach! Walk out the back door into the white sands and emerald waters of Destin. The complimentary beach set up was super nice. Overall the house was fantastic, a few shower heads could be updated and provide some household items/beach towels. We can’t wait to come back and stay again!

Great house!

Beautiful home on a gorgeous beach! Plenty of space in the house and on the patio. We all had a great time! The house came with 6 beach chairs and 3 umbrellas, which was very helpful! The house is near a hotel that provided drink/snack service on the beach, which was nice to be able to order tasty treats without leaving the beautiful beach. We were not impressed with the hospitality of the rental agency. Upon arrival, we had to call the agency, due to the codes not working to get into the house. We called a few minutes later when we noticed the two large trash cans were overflowing with trash. Then, we had to call again when the WiFi wasn’t working. The WiFi didn’t start working until the next morning. There were basic household items we had to order and have delivered, such as laundry soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels, trash bags, and beach towels. While we were there, one of the windows blew out and we called the rental agency immediately. They did send someone out to fix it, but hot air was still coming in and that bathroom was extremely hot the entire time. Overall—the house location and size was perfect and we had a great time. We overlooked the lack of basic supplies, but figured we should let others know so they can plan to either bring those items or add them to the grocery list.

Excellent location!

It was a wonderful stay in a wonderful location in a beautiful house. Only problem I had was after check out I got an email stating that I was charged $545 for a pool setting being switched to spa mode that put our pool at 104 degrees. We wasn’t even aware that a setting existed so when they told me this I emailed and explained. It didn’t help I was still charged even though we don’t know how it got switched and it was confirmed that the setting was not on spa mode when we checked in on Monday. I was supposed to be credited $200 since it was confirmed Monday and Tuesday was not in spa mode, but that hasn’t happened yet.

Amazing view

This VRBO was exactly what we were looking for. The view was amazing, we had plenty of room for our family to hang out and relax and loved that we could walk right to the beach from the house. We also walked to restaurants, it was very convenient!!
