(1) Property description says that extra cleaning precautions are made due to COVID. Not true. There wasn't even a scent of cleaning in the unit. Shelf in bathroom was dusty, so it could not have been cleaned. This was most disappointing because of COVID. If you're going to advertise that you take extra steps, then take those extra steps.
(2) Bathroom sink drains very slow
(3) Vertical blinds - dirty and some are missing (in bedroom), so had to use blanket to cover so sun wouldn't shine in in the morning.
(4) Coffee pot - should invest in auto-shutoff. Also, there wasn't a permanent filter or even one paper filter to make coffee. A permanent filter cost like $3 - it would go a long way so the guest doesn't have to run to the store first thing in the morning.
(5) Internet is very shoddy. Owner recommended to reboot router in bedroom. This gets old. Streaming doesn't work on TV so you're stuck with whatever local cable co. offers. Not a huge deal, but allowing streaming on your smart TV (apps were there, just didn't work), is kind of a default these days.
(6) Bed and sofa not very comfortable.
PROS:
(1) Very close to beach - and has a beach view.
(2) Neighborhood seemed quiet and unit is on 2nd floor, so no-one above made it quieter.
(3) Mostly clean, with the exceptions from above, and didn't see any bugs (roaches, ants) that I've seen in others.
