I’ve stayed at the Emerald Grande on several occasions. The staff is always helpful. The rooms are always clean. The location is the best in Destin. My favorite part is the boat shuttle to the private beach. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

All staff friendly and extremely helpful-it is a very large building that is initially difficult to navigate and staff were a great resource for assistance. Fitness center had top notch equipment. Breakfasts at their bar/grill were very good. Our room was small-no desk or chairs but did have a nice veranda with great views.

We had to go through a parking garage to get to our room, which was odd. Also, the walls were paper thin and could hear exact conversations into the other room adjacent to us.

The rooms are very clean. Everything's so close. I wish that beach is closer like walk distance. We have to use the shuttle to get to the beach. Or car . Otherwise everything's very nice. I wish that we have a better weather if it's cold.

The suite was very nice and clean! We had a wonderful view of the ocean from the balcony which was amazing! The area had many different restaurants, food trucks, excuse and experiences on the boardwalk which made the trip even better. All the staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly except one woman at the front desk she was very rude from the first day we checked in throughout our stay whenever we called the front desk for information but we didn’t allow her negativity to ruin our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend and will return if we take a vacation to Destin again.

Views of harbor were great! Shower was big and room was updated. Did not realize there would be only 2 stores open on boardwalk so not much to do or see in January.

very nice accommodations but very confusing layout. seemed we walked thru the garage a lot. wasn’t able to use all the amenities like the pool area, mistly closed off due to construction. the shower was sooo big - seemed like alot of wasted space that could’ve fit a soaker tub, also towel rack very far from bathing area. The beach shuttle to the most beautiful beach was our highlite. think might make good location for girls weekend with shopping in the village area although it did get a little crowded during the weekend

I loved the fact that check in was a breeze and the staff was super friendly. Parking was a little confusing, but we found our way. It was so worth getting lost because when we got to our room, it was amazing, clean, and the room temp was just like I wanted it to be. not to mention the bar and grill on site was amazing and I wished I would have gotten our servers name because she made the night. I am definitely going back in a month or so. Thanks for everything.

The room was very clean; however, there was a lack of any sort of broom/dustpan and zero paper towels available when arriving. We opted to avoid any room service during the stay, and the lack of broom made it difficult to keep sand out of the room. We only went to the pool one day, we were honestly a little underwhelmed with the size of the pool - I can't imagine how cramped the pool would seem during more peak times of the year. We had to do a last minute audible on where we were staying (going from a beach rental to a property located on the harbor), and we were absolutely not disappointed with the beach shuttle service - but I could see there being some requests for it to run later as it ended around 5-6 PM. Location of the property offered A LOT to do during the trip regardless of external weather conditions. There seemed to be a lot to do in the area for many different crowds/ages. Never been to a spa or had a professional massage before, but the Emerald Grande set the bar high for future spas/massages with their paid on site services. Renovations made getting into the Harbor Suites room restricted/odd, with the only entrance/exit to the floor the rooms are located on being the parking garage. I could see this being a safety concern as the parking garage itself was available to the public (with levels 3 and above requiring a room key to access via a car). If I were a female patron, I'd have been more concerned always having to go through the parking garage.

Unfortunately the pools are not heated as stated on the site. Our room was super clean tho! I will say if you’re into ghost this is the place for you. Our room was haunted! Stuff moved around at night. Something pushing the curtain with force. Something walking around the room. Did I mention that it likes to poke you while you sleep. We were going to see family and left a night early because of it. Hotel is great but spooky!

Was disappointed in the hotel. Very nice looking but could not get our room cleaned in a timely manor. Getting to the room from check in was very confusing they didn’t mention you walk through the parking garage. We went back to the front desk twice until a nice lady walked us to our room. I paid for the Suite and a balcony room. The picture showed a patio set. The balcony was so small you could barely even stand out there. Lots of construction going on. The pool said there was service until 10 and never stayed open that late. We had to carry our dirty towels back because no one was at the counter so we were unable to get our towel cards back. Other than the room itself and king beds as well as the location for the boardwalk it was very disappointing. Also asked for late check out since check out is 10am but nothing opens until 11. Location was great and shuttle to the beach as well, except when they change the hours the day of your beach plans and have to make other arrangements. Positives are the room was new and nice. Location was close to everything and excursions available right outside in the boardwalk.
