Hot tub never worked. Consequently, the pool was not utilized. Should have been informed prior to the arrival that it couldn't be fixed during our stay. We questioned the heated pool and were told it would be an extra cost! The whole experience with the pool/hot tub put a damper on the vacation.

Hoping to be Repeat Guests!

Our stay was fantastic! The house was stunning: exactly as pictured, but still blew expectations out of the water. Super well stocked bathrooms and kitchen, and the decor made us feel like we were on a vacation abroad, not here in the states! The location is AMAZING. Steps away from the beach!! Couldn't have wished for anything better. I really hope to book again soon.

Great house for a large family!

The house was clean, well stocked, and had a great layout for a large family (grandparents, parents, kids) to comfortably share and enjoy. We really appreciated all of the pool toys, beach items, bikes, etc. Property was extremely close to the beach access point but felt very private. Hosts were responsive and helpful throughout the stay

Reunion

We had a great time just enjoying the spectacular beach and convenient pool. We made Thanksgiving dinner at the house and all of us fit just fine. Gathering around the TV in the evening for a classic Christmas movie topped off the day. It was the first time all of us have been together in almost eighteen years, so it was very special for me.

Perfect Vacation

What a great house! Location and beach access was perfect, layout of rooms and space was perfect, beds were perfect. What else can I say. Our family of 13 had a wonderful week at this location and enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the space that allowed us to spread out and sit out on the balconies or indoors to visit. Property management was easily available for all of our questions or needs. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home. We would definitely recommend and return!!

Dream Stay at the best VRBO Home Ever!

The home is absolutely beautiful, and right across a cobblestoned street from a gorgeous, private beach! The neighborhood is gated, with kind and helpful guards who keep the area safe. We met tons of families from all over, and all were so friendly and happy to be there. We were a large group and we all felt very comfortable in our rooms. The kitchen is fully stocked, with every kind of pot and pan and utensil you could ever need. Large tvs everywhere, and scenic views from every balcony. The pool is lovely, but you have to pay an additional charge for it to be heated. I'm sure if you come anytime after March, you will be more than fine. The community pool is heated however, and stunning as well. This was an absolute dream stay, it was our favorite VRBO home ever.

The Destin/Miramar Oasis

We found this beautiful home in the highly sought after gated community of Destiny By the Sea. We found the arrival and check-in progress to be very easy and made us feel safe as a family with school age children. This home was more beautiful than any picture could have shown. The landscapes were evident that they spared no expenses down to the last details even around the quaint pool area that we thoroughly enjoyed daily. The home was decorated beautifully with whimsical designs that brought the elegant feel of the home to the fun festive feeling of being at an oasis on the gorgeous beaches of Destin/Miramar. We had the best time and enjoyed all the thoughtful touches this home provided from the toys in the garage for the kids to use in the pool and down at the beach, to the bikes that they rode in the evening. We had a few minor bumbs along the way with the typical things you may encounter on a normal day in a house as well appreciated as this one, but the owner addressed them immediately with the intent to have our stay not to be disrupted! We were very pleased that the beds were extremely comfortable and provided us all with a wonderful nights sleep all week. Both of our families with a total of sixteen of us were able to be accommodate comfortably with ease in this three story home. Thanks again to the management and staff that made this stay very memorable for our families after a much needed and difficult two and a half years. This vacation will be one for the books!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Destiny by the Sea. Fourth house we have stayed in. Great location and house was good layout. Several problems: Trash was overflowing when we got there , four days before pickup. Pool and hot tub never worked properly. Paid $18,000/week and not allowed to use front door. Leak in kitchen, could not use ice maker.
