Average stay

The unit was well decorated, although it was filthy. The carpets were extremely stained, the sofas were so dirty, the vibrant colors were muted. The sofa bed had a mattress cover that was dirty and no bedding/pillows, but we did find a candy bar under the cushion that should have easily been found by housekeeping. The shower curtain liner was moldy, they only provided two rolls of toilet paper and 3 total spoons in the utensil drawer, there was a dirty spatula in the drawer, and the sink was leaking with a trash can cover catching the water. Additionally we arrived 15 minutes early and were not allowed to enter before 4 pm, even though I had three small kids and they needed to use the restroom. The online person I was chatting with wouldn't even let us in 3 min early... then our code wouldn't work. The local property manager did provide bedding and pillows for the sofa, and a new shower liner the second day of our stay so that was helpful of her. PS photos don't do justice of the inperson filth. Overall the unit was a bust but the location was great. Helpful hint, have quarters available if you want to do laundry as there is no coin machine.

The Best Vacation Ever!!

The property was beautiful! Is was immaculate as far as cleanliness and decorated beautifully. The beds and other furniture were comfortable and lovely to look at. The view from the balcony was great. I watched the sun rise and sunset every day. Easy access to the beach. There were warm swimming pools and hot tubs. My grandson caught fish at the marina and saw a shark that had been caught. We saw dolphins. We fed the ducks at the pond.

Location great, Unit Ehh...

Love sandpiper cove... as a location in this area you cant beat it. Pools are heated year round and hot tubs are great. our unit was worn but clean.

Worst vrbo experience ever

The description was not accurate. Stated washer and dryer and there was none in the unit. No hot water. Towel hangers were not mounted to the wall. Shower curtain rod was coming out of the wall. Door code didnt work and had to call to get access. They then changed the code again halfway through my stay. Beach access code was not given, had to call again to get that. When I called about there not being a washer and dryer and no hot water the vacasa representative basically called me a liar and wouldnt even listen to my concerns and refused to offer any solution (move to a working property or issue even a partial refund). Worst stay I have ever had. Will never use Vacasa for anything again ever.

Great Location

The property was easy to get to and it was directly across the street from the beach. The beach entrance was gated and a security code was needed to enter. We liked that set up because it limited access and made for a more enjoyable experience. The beach itself was very nice and the sand was powder soft. The location was also convenient to shopping, restaurants, bars and anything else you wanted to do. The property itself was well stocked and all the appliances worked well. A few things we noticed were the shower curtain rod looked like it was about to fall off and one of the hand towel holders did fall off. The host was informed of the situation and responded properly. In our opinion it's a great set up for a couple only. There is only one bedroom. There is a bunkbed set up but it is right next to the double sink vanity. It would be very awkward and disruptive to use the sink and have others sleeping a foot away. However, overall we really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Awesome location - Ocean view!

I wasn't expecting to see the ocean from my balcony, but was pleasantly surprised by the view! Easy access to the Gulf beach with a short walk to the cross walk. Pool access was also great! Will definitely consider coming back! Note, there was no washer/dryer in this unit. Not a problem for my relatively short stay, but may be of concern for someone who would be staying for a more extended visit.

Sand Piper Cove Condo

The property was very nice! The condo was decorated nicely and had what we needed! I hope to stay here again! The property description stated there was a washer and dryer. That appliance was available but not in the unit.

Great Location!!

What a great little property!! We were right across the street from the beach and each morning across the balcony could see the water/waves peeking through. The bed was super comfortable. The only issue we had was trying to figure out the shower access (just give the water spout output ring a pull down and voila!) The property maintenance gentleman who called to explain was super nice and helpful. Excellent stay and introduction to the gorgeous emerald coast!!

Great location, poor communication

The location is great. Convenient check in. Just not up to Vacasa standards as far as communication and the condition of the property. The carpet was pretty gross and the furniture is dated. The towel bar is broken off in the bathroom. There was a coffee maker, but no coffee pot. The bunkbeds are literally in the bathroom. The sheets and blanket on the bed were like nursing home sheets and were so thin I called to get actual blankets so we didn’t freeze. We had to call and spend forty minutes on the phone to troubleshoot the internet and the aforementioned issues. The coffee pot was delivered over 24 hours later. They delivered a whole new coffee machine that I had to unbox myself. They also only had two bathroom towels out for a four person stay, but we found more in a closet. Creature comforts were disappointing on this stay. The condo was in a great location and located close to the pool and hot tub which was nice. Beach access was very convenient.

I liked that it was just as the photos. Everything was provided, all we had to do was show up and bring food if thats what we wanted. Will definitely be back. Only thing could've been better is that the carpet probably could be cleaner. And figuring out how to change tub to shower, but it ws quickly resolved.

Perfect beach vacation

Have stayed at Sandpiper several times, LOVE the beach and beach service! The water is amazing but the pools are only a few steps away. The condo was great, minor glitch with lock code that was fixed with a phone call in minutes. Plan to return next year
