Family Fun!

This was the perfect stay for our family (Grandparents, with a 2 and 4 year old). The beach was fabulous, and we enjoyed the rental chairs and umbrellas, and the pools could not have been better for the kids. The tiki bar was a plus! The ability to grill out (with a fresh Fish Market next door!) and the waterpark across the street made the location prime.

Eh, ok...but good price

Love staying at the Pelican Resort, great area and nice place. This room is on the 2nd floor and the front door and front bedroom overlook the main entrance, so it is very loud in the mornings. I had to contact management about a very noisy bathtub faucet and that there were still hairs left in our shower and bathroom from not being cleaned very well. My feet were black from the floors being dirty and we went to use the blender for a smoothie and it was covered in stuff from an old smoothie. Bathroom showers definitely need updating or very thoroughly cleaned. Mattress in master needs updated as it has a dip in the middle and curves up on one end, I felt like I was clawing my way out! Being right by the pool, it was relatively quite, which was nice. I did report some of these issues to management and they responded very quickly. Would stay at the Pelican again, but probably not in this particular unit.

Beautiful Destin summer Getaway

Beautiful property and surroundings. Closely located to stores and restaurants. We really enjoyed our time in Destin, minus the unfriendly beach umbrella and chair guys. They were rude and unfriendly to speak and deal with. Not sure if they are part of the property or a third party vendor.

Family Beach Trip

The condo was decorated nicely and had plenty of towels and bedding, even for the sofa bed. The pools were great and close access to the most gorgeous beach! We had a great time!!

Loved it!

This was a wonderful condo with lots to do, close to the action, and definitely met our needs for the price. It was clean, had nice pools, tiki bar by the pool/beach with music, fully stocked with comfortable beds!! It was small… one king and one double for four people but offered everything we needed. I would recommend this condo if you’re looking for a cheaper place right on the beach that was fun and relaxing at the same time!! If you’re looking for a great spring break with teenagers, this is a safe and wonderful spot!!! Thank you Destin!!! We will be back ♥️

Property has a great location to beach. Shower heads in bathrooms were not great, a bit more than a trickle and tepid water. Blanket for soda bed in livingroom smelled of dog. Kitchen was fantastic! Beds clean & comfy.

The location is beautiful. The pools and pool bar are all beautiful. The place itself is very strict, band needed to be worn at all times, cant set up your own beach stuff near water. While that didn't really bother us, you would think with how strict they are for guests, the standards for the rooms would be really high. The kitchen was nice, living room was okay (couch was filthy), and the bedrooms and bathrooms were not good at all. The guest bedroom: bed frame definitely was broken because one side of the bed sunk in. Both bathrooms had black mold EVERYWHERE in the shower (even in the shower head!!). Overall the location is nice, just needs some upgrades and cleaning.

Properties need maintenance alerts for accuracy

I had to switch my rental twice due to unreported maintenance issues. Four days before my scheduled arrival, the rental company called to tell me the balcony on my unit would be unusable due to the exterior being painted. So I picked another. When I showed up, the person checking us in told us the balcony on this second unit was also unusable for the same reason, and the pool was also closed for maintenance. So I had to choose a third unit that was not even in my desired location. At any rate, it ended up ok, but it was a real hassle due to lack of communication of the status of the units being rented and the stated amenities.

Great location on the beach!

We enjoyed our stay at this condo! It was clean & exactly as described. Walk to the pools & beach was quick. From room to feet in the sand was 2 minutes. Couch could have been a bit more comfortable according to my husband. Bring anything you would need to cook as far as seasonings etc, as there is no supply. Bring soap pumps as there’s only small bars to wash your hands. I brought extra toilet paper, foil & baggies to store leftovers. Would stay here again since it is so close to the pools, beach & restaurants! My 2 teenage sons loved all of the pool choices & so did I! Don’t forget to check out the little hidden hot tub behind the tiki bar. We didn’t discover it until our second to last day. 😆 Great place to relax & have fun!!!

Yearly vacation

The condo we stayed in was exactly like the pictures we saw when we booked it. Balcony was larger than I thought which we loved being able to use and have plenty of room. The only issue was you had to slam the front door in order for it to close completely, it was open when we arrived.
