Location was 10/10- centrally located to just about everything & the amenities of the property were great. The downfall was the cleanliness of the unit, hair in the bed, dirty dishes, mismatched pots/pans/silverware that every single piece was dirty, sandpaper bath towels, FILTHY air filter & lack of necessity. We spent more than our monthly mortgage to stay here for 6 nights- little things like beach chairs/towels/boogie boards, matching set of pots/pans, a broom and/or stick vacuum instead of the huge plug in vacuum, & more than two trash bags would’ve made all the difference in our vacation that we invested in.

We had a very nice week. The pool is very nice. The only thing we didn’t like about the room we couldn’t adjust the thermostat but other than that very nice place.

Great Vacation

We love Destin. We always stay at Sand Piper Cove. This unit was spacious, up to date, and very clean. We had no issues during our stay. Communication with property manager was excellent.

Destin Weekend

Please do not post this review. This info is for the rental unit manager. The property was decorated nicely, but was not clean. The floors were dirty, the curtains were dusty and the decor items above the kitchen cabinets were very dusty/dirty. We had to wipe down the bottom of the mirrors & vanities in both bathrooms. All the floor baseboards were dusty as well. Please look behind the bed's headboards. It is especially dirty behind them on the floor. Lastly, we were unable to sleep in the king bed in the master bedroom because that bed is so high off the ground, even with the use of the little stool that was left by the bed. I would suggest a low profile mattress for that bed. Honestly, I think this unit needs a deep cleaning. Sorry to complain but this rental experience was just not up to what we're used to with our past rental experiences.

Short stay in Destin, Fl

We booked this unit primary due to the location and the fact that it was pet friendly. The location was great, short walk to the beach, and just a few steps from the back patio to one of the larger pools. However, we did not find the unit as clean as listed in previous reviews. The area and throw rugs in this unit are very old and probably contributing to the housekeeping issue. The master bedroom and second bedroom have been switched to accommodate more numbers, so the larger bathroom is not adjacent to the master bedroom. The master bedroom king size bed is very tall requiring most people to use steps stools (supplied) to get on and off the bed. The latch on the sliding glass door to the patio does not work so you have to use a wooded rod for security, sliding glass door tracks are very dirty. We did enjoy the location, easy walk to the beach, and the unit being pet friendly (thanks); however, due to the above and a few other issues we would not be interested in booking this unit in the future. The Rental Company was great.

Beautiful, Clean, and The Perfect Location

We absolutely adored our stay at Hook, Wine, and Linger 9132! It was the perfect size, fully furnished, plenty of dishes, utensils and cooking supplies. The close access to the pool outside the back patio was a plus. We rented a golf cart, which allowed us ease when going to the beach, grocery, gas station and Target. If we make a trip back to Destin, I would stay in this unit again. The guards at the front entrance were always pleasant, too. The condo was clean, also. It’s the perfect place for a family to enjoy! The only thing we didn’t know was the deadbolt on the condo was a twist knob. After entering the code, the knob had to be turned to enter. We sent a message and received a real quickly on how to enter. The best part is, this condo is so close to EVERYTHING!!

We will definately stay there again. Was just as it was described. Parking was great! Very quiet neighborhood. There were a few things that needed to be addressed. The cleaning people don't clean UNDER anything. Some dishes were put away dirty. You can't adjust the a/c below 70 (68 would be better). The TV's in bedrooms didn't work - master bedroom never got working. I felt all of this should have been looked at PRIOR to our arrival.

Great Location & Nice Unit

The complex is located very close to the beach and an easy walk. The complex is gated and security personnel were very friendly and helpful. The complex had well-maintained pools. The unit was well maintained and looked very similar to the pictures posted online. This was our first time to Destin and we enjoyed our stay. We would definitely stay at this unit again.

Great experience

Just the right amount of space in this condo if you happen to want to stay inside but why would you. Just outside the back door is one of the heated pools and all 3 hot tubs. Walking distance to the beach and shops and a few food options. I would definitely rent this condo again but later in the season. Mostly cloudy but you can't rent sunshine :)
