Summer Spell #1201 - 1st Floor, 2BR unit, Short Walk to the Beach

  • Located in Destin along Florida’s Emerald Coast, Chateau La Mer II is a beautifully landscaped, family-friendly complex situated in its own private community just off the popular Scenic Highway 98. We are only a short walk away from Destin's famous  “sugar sand” on our Private Beach along the Emerald Coast.
    After a fun day of exploring you can take a relaxing stroll to some of our local restaurants. Or you can enjoy outdoor grilling on one of the many community outdoor grills available in our picnic area with additional grills located around the complex. Destin has is all!  Arts & Culture, Fine Dining, Sports Adventures, Shopping and Spas are all available in the area. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Multiple Outlet Shopping Malls are minutes away. There is something for every member of the family, no matter what age.

    Beach service is from March 6th through October 25th 8 AM to 4 PM. 

    This property is NOT available to parties of adults under age 25.
    Snowbird Season runs from November thru March. For a quote, select an arrival date (must be the 1st day of the month) and a departure date (must be the 1st day of a subsequent month). Contact us for alternate date requests and further assistance! All monthly rentals are subject to an additional $100 cleaning fee. March rentals are from the 1st to the last Saturday of March.

Great spot for family baseball trip!

Everything was easy, clean accessible and the layout was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the rooms are spacious, the a/c is strong, the location is great.... what more could you want?! We will def stay again when we're back for baseball!

Perfect Getaway!

This was a perfect place for us. We really enjoyed the persoal touch of having the lights on and music playing in all of the rooms. It was perfect for us and in a great location. Met all expectations. We will be back.

Perfect stay for family!

The check in process was so easy, the property manager was responsive. We even accidentally left one AirPod behind and it is being sent to us! Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Missouri Anniversary couple

We were very impressed with our condo and pricing of our unit. It was very spacious and offered all of the amenities of home. The beach wax a short 4-5 minute walk and three seafood restaurants were a very short walk away too. We very much enjoyed our stay and it was a great way to celebrate our 38 years of marriage. Richard the property manager is the best!

Nice place with plenty of spaces

Really enjoyed the stay. Richard was very helpful. Answered our questions in a timely fashion. The unit is very spacious. Really like the big space of the kitchen and the living room. Sleeps 6 people very comfortably. The area is really quiet at night. Small distance to walk to the beach. The unit have everything you need.

Enjoyed our stay!

Unit was clean and decorated nicely with a well equipped kitchen. The only thing missing was a pod coffee maker so I bought one and left it for others to use. Took us a minute to figure out how to work the shower but we got it. Beds were very comfortable. Loved the private beach. Richard was very helpful. We were very relaxed after our stay. Wish we stayed longer. Highly recommend.

It is a longer than 5 minute walk to Beach. Bad drainage in shower and the other bathroom shower didn't work.

Condo was very well maintained. Kitchen fully stocked with dish ware, appliances, and everything you would need for a week stay. Lots of room in the entire condo.

Family vacation to Destin

We enjoyed our stay close 5 min walk to the beach. Restaurants are close by. Had tons of kids at the pool to play with our kids. My son enjoyed the play ground.

Chateau la Mer

The condo was very nice and close to the beach. However, our stay was ruined by bad weather all week and we were unable to cancel with any hope of refund until after we could see the weather forecast. Also, we were unfortunate enough to have neighbors above us that stomped around loudly and continuously until extremely late, and we felt we had no recourse.

Absolutely wonderful!

A beautiful condo a short walk from the beach. Clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to make check in easy. A month here wasn't long enough! Hope to be back soon!
