Loved Destin - but disappointed at Sundestin
the condo overall was ok and the view was excellent, but really needs better furniture that was more comfortable. Kitchen chairs are metal, and the other furniture isn't much better. Never could figure out how the smart tv worked, but we weren't there to watch tv so that was not really an issue worth asking about. Bathtub is very high to step into the shower, really is a safety hazard, it really should be converted to a shower. I am 6 ft tall and gouged my knee the first time I used it. The building itself needs a complete renovation and it really shouldn't be open in the process. The pool/splash pad area is very old and outdated, the wooden stairs to the ocean were being worked on while we were there and the landscape is not maintained much around the property. When you walk down the front walk, tiles are loose and everything is just very old looking. The pictures must have been taken when everything was first done years ago. We had a great time in Destin, but definitely wouldn't recommend with how it all looks now.
