Beyond Expectations

This unit is amazing. It exceeding our expectations. It had absolutely everything we needed and more. Right on the beach with easy access. Great location that was close to the Boardwalk. Clean and comfortable beds and furniture. Definitely recommend.

Loved it for the location

The location was great and we really enjoyed the stay.. About the apartment ..it was stinky..the maintenance guy told us it’s because of the old AC vents.. don’t have beach view from the balcony..the furniture was very old ..not kid friendly…floor tiles were coming apart..overall the room is way past a renovation..

The room

We expected a queen sofa sleeper and there wasn’t a pull out bed. It had been changed and the pics weren’t what it was. They did provide us with 2 roll away beds to accommodate. The washer didn’t work either and that’s a huge reason why we chose that room. We had to use the washing machine on the floor instead of the one we paid for with the room.

Enjoyed our stay here at SunDestin!

We loved our stay especially the private beach access and the splashpad and pools. No complaints about our room whatsoever. The only issue we had was with the elevators. The wait time to get an elevator down was always longer than expected. I understand it is busy season but taking four flights of stairs to avoid this was not always fun especially when hauling things down.

Terrible

Terrible place to stay. It was very convenient that it was on the beach that’s about it. We got in our room and there was gum on the curtains, nats everywhere, stains on the couches. It just wasn’t cleaned at all. The air conditioner was so loud every time it turned on it woke you up, in the middle of the night, and the thermostat would only go to 68, it was so hot in the condo. The beds were terrible. We won’t be staying here again.

Great Condo!!

The condo is amazing has all the amenities one could need and more the only thing the sofa bed was horrible my whole body ached the next day after sleeping on it other than that no complaints about the condo. It’s very spacious looked just like it was pictured. Another complaint I had was the overflow parking is across the street from the condo behind a chic fil a no lights not even safe back there and it is not an actual parking lot. Having to cross the street from there is even more dangerous and walking back from there at night as a female was the most unsafe ever. I can say that I will stay again but the next time only bring one vehicle.

Baffled by High Tec

Newly redecorated (WE may have been the very first to stay). Only issue we old people had absolutely no experience with a convection stove top and oven. Neither did the front desk or Maintenace. Thanks to our adult kids forteaching us about U Tube after the third one my wife figured it out enough to cook our first meal. After a good laugh we settle in on the couch for TV time. Then came a great night's sleep on an outstanding bed. We spent long days on the beautiful sugar sand for which Destin is famous. Truth in advertising we drove about a mile down the road to a State Park where the beach was less crowded. It is a definite do over.

Helpful Suggestions

1. Not sure what made a scratching or scurrying noise in the walls or possibly the ventilation system but it needs to be checked out. Occurred in Kitchen and front bedroom area. 2. Provide a guide as to how to access/utilize the TV’s. There were a pile of remotes and no instructions. TV in front bedroom was simple, only one remote and it allowed for basic TV station access. Those are the only items we had issues with… but otherwise it was a great place to stay!

Great location and on the beach

The location was great and the condo was a good size. Nice kitchen once we figured out how to use the electric cooktop. Washer and dryerwas ok the dryer too forever to dry a load of towels. Didn't have much of a balcony view of the beach being on the side but it was ok.

Loved the Condo!!

Condo was great looks like the pics had all the amenities you could need.. This was the first condo I have stayed in that had more then enough towels for our group. The downside was the pullout sofa was awful so uncomfortable I woke up and my whole body was hurting. The overflow parking is all the way across the street from the condo it’s not even a true lot and at night it’s no lights and it’s not safe if you are female and have to walk from back there. Other than these things we all really enjoyed our trip and will stay again just next time only take one vehicle..
