We had a great time with our family for fall break. The condo was very clean, HOWEVER….we were very disappointed there wasn’t a washer/dryer unit inside the condo. In all of my 43 years of going to the beach I have never not had one in our room. The amenities listed laundry facilities so I assumed they were in the room, it didn’t make it clear. They did have units down the hallway you could pay to use, but that was a huge pain and inconvenience to use so we didn’t bother. Also I hated the fact that if you wanted to be set up close to the water you HAD to rent the umbrella/chair service. Your own stuff had to be set up back behind everything. That is a pain when you are trying to enjoy the ocean view and keep an eye on your children in the water. And who doesn’t let you set up your own umbrellas? Only tents??? Both of these were definite firsts for us, and weren’t communicated in the listing. We always go to Orange beach but wanted to try something different this year. From here on we will be going back to the places we know will have a washer and dryer and will let us set up our own stuff on the beach wherever we want.
