A solo unos pasos de las aguas cristalinas de la Costa Esmeralda, este recién remodelado apartamento frente al mar se encuentra en la soleada Destin, Florida. Nueva y recién pintada, esta unidad ofrece muebles nuevos para marzo de 2017 que incluyen ropa de cama, accesorios de baño e iluminación nuevos, arreglos florales, obras de arte y asientos en la habitación. La unidad 307 tiene capacidad para 6 personas, ofrece una cama king-size en la suite principal, dos camas individuales en la habitación y un sofá cama en el televisor de la sala de 42 '. Disponible en la suite principal hay un nuevo televisor LCD HD de 19 ", así como un televisor LCD HD de pantalla plana de 22" en la habitación. El baño principal tiene una ducha de estilo rústico en la playa y baldosas nuevas, dos lavabos. Our only complaint was that all the mattresses were extremely firm. Not comfortable to sleep on. Several of our guests woke up with sore backs from the mattresses.

Several times having to dodge barriers to get to the grills.only item in condo not up to standards is the couch. The couch needs to be replaced it is worn out. You can’t even sit on the couch and be able to get up.

Reviewer Comments: When we arrived, we put my grandson who is 8 months old in his walker, his feet were black after 30 minutes of being there. Obviously the floors were NOT cleaned. The sheets on the beds smelled like body odor! I've stayed at the Islander for over 13 years and I've never been so disappointed in the lack of cleanness.

The young man, Bryson that set up the beach chairs with umbrellas was so kind and worked so hard everyday. Our stay in Room 307 was great. I loved the decor. My family has vacationed 5 times now and we always stay at this resort if I get a say in it. The only con would be that the movie night was too loud. We also sure hope that people get back to work at the restaurants, not only in Destin but all over the great USA. There were long waits everywhere.

Close to whatever you need, beautiful area! Pool is heated this time of year thankfully because ocean was a bit to chilly for us. Beach setup service was great, the young men that set up chairs and umbrellas are always so nice (especially Bryce). We just came 7 months ago and I can’t wait to come again! Owners and personnel at The Islander are always very nice.

Unaware of Covid

The unit we stayed in was quite nice, with super views of the beach. We were unable to use the pool as the other folks in the community were oblivious of social distancing. The pool was full of people at all hours which progressed to a drunkin, sloppy loud mess. Our window and deck looked over at these Yahoos! We also found the staff and guests were oblivious to wearing mask espcially on waiting and getting on the elevators.

Very clean, updated unit.

All staff were very polite and helpful. Location was good and kid activities were a nice treat. The complimentary umbrella and chairs were awesome! The only inconvenience was one elevator was out.

Gorgeous view from window

Stay was great. Islander location was easy to get to and from everywhere. Beach was beautiful even with the short walk it was easy to there. My only complaint was I really needed a hair dryer🤣 my fault I just assumed it came with one in condo
