“It would have been interesting to know the cleaning conditions and the situation of the rooms of this hotel in advance.
Our room where on the top of the hill and it was not comfortable to go and come back from it to the restaurant, pool, beach, car park... If you know it, you could ask for a more convenient room.
About cleaning conditions, it's important to know that they only clean the room every 4 o 5 days (at least). If you don't worry about that, then this could be your hotel.

Helpful staff. No wine bottle openers found after bar hours.
Great breakfast.”

“The posted images reflect what you will see when you arrive. Each cabin has privacy but when outside in eating area you can hear other guests. The room and bathroom were spacious with the added outdoor covered eating area and small kitchen. The pool was refreshing after a day in the heat. The owner is on site and speaks a little English. For Americans since this is a Gite there are no bath products or extra TP (I did not know this). The Gite was difficult to find the first time - if it had been...

“Nos alojamos durante varias noches en uno de los apartamentos con cocina. El alojamiento está en una zona muy tranquila, y a nuestro parecer en una de las mejores zonas de Guadalupe, al lado de Plage de la Perle, siendo una playa espectacular. El mobiliario es algo antiguo, pero está cuidado. Limpieza semanal de la habitación por parte del hotel aunque tienes utensilios de limpieza si lo necesitas. Al menos en nuestra habitación, había algunos básicos como sal, pimienta y café.

“Great operation base to explore the region of Guadeloupe known as Base-Terre. The place is a bungalow within the premises of a residential home. Very comfortable, one bed room with a separate living area and full kitchen. Emmanuel and Rabat are great hosts. Nothing within walking distance, you need to rent a car. There is a bakery (Baguette Shop) within a strip mall nearby and a pizza place down the road.”
