“Beautiful room and great staff. ”

“The most beautiful room we have ever had with stunning sea views and a great roof terrace that gets very busy. The only disappointment we had was the pool which is very small and in a public area without guest lounging space so we felt uncomfortable to use it. The breakfast was fantastic and great value as it was included and the breakfast restaurant area is beautiful, again with lovely views however service was very slow. ”

“Self catering room in cottage pie needs a renovation . The windows lead onto the street,so this would make it a security issue if one would like to sit outside. The bedroom is dark and gloomy the bathroom had a broken light. The overall facilities and the staff were very good ”

“We really enjoyed staying at the The Whaling Station. It is a very safe and protected area with convenient parking. We liked the walk to the lagoon and being personally welcomed by Kasia who gave us excellent recommendations. ”

“Fabulous! Quiet location, attentive staff, excellent breakfast. Cristiana is a special and quiet part of Plettenberg Bay, away from the main beaches and town. A place to go for a calm, restorative break!”

“It is a magnificent property with great facilities. Well located enough. But Plattenberg is a plain soulless residential seaside town. No quality in terms of restaurants. The property is closed to shops, cafés and beach (if you don’t mind the very steep hike back). ”

“The Penthouse suite is very spacious with access to a balcony, a very large side balcony with gazebo, and a rooftop terrace. The kitchen is well equipped including an air fryer”
