“We rented the 2 bedroom cottage over Thanksgiving to visit family. It was clean with fresh sheets and towels. The kitchen was stocked with dishes, cutlery and supplies for the stay. Close walk to the beach to see amazing sunsets! This property was an amazing home base, felt cozy and very quiet. Wally was also super helpful at the front desk. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!”

“Cute little retreat. Just spent the night after taking the ferry over from Bar Harbor. Enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of traveling.”

“Nice view from the deck”

“Great location - close to the beach (2 min drive) and to near by towns for shopping and food. Kayaks was a nice touch! The place was clean and well stocked. Unfortunately, we did notice an odour throughout the stay. We found that by opening windows, running the fan and using a candle, we were able to reduce it.”

“Trailer was super cozy nestled against the lake, in a very quiet area. I loved getting up early and enjoying a coffee by the water. It was very clean, owners were very helpful. We never ended up using Kayak or the hot tub but they were accessable and looked clean to us.”

“The RV was clean enough with ample bedding and towels. We did miss having a coffee maker or expresso machine - they had a coffee press. Because you're in a RV, one needs to be aware of what is drawing power so you don't overload the circuit. The fireplace was nice as we had cool fall weather - just don't use the microwave or kettle with it on! Loved the deck to get some morning sun and used the BBQ. Oh, the water has a sulfur smell, but the filter for the drinking water took care of that. ...

“Absolutely beautiful house with an amazing ocean view. Our contact was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely repeat.”

“Property was lovely, they’d added even more amenities than when we booked, it was wonderful. My only suggestion is to write down your check in code or the wifi BEFORE you get there, we had no service until we were able to access wifi so couldn’t access any messages to reach out, thankfully we saw another guest after 10-15mins and they gave us the wifi. Other than that the stay was lovely.”

“Beautiful and comfortable place to stay with a million dollar view of the bay. If you are in the area it is the best place to relax and enjoy!!!”

“Instructions for lock box should be simplified… just “ press down on black button” would suffice…many of electrical outlets not functioning… air mattress not useable…damaged in 2 spots( we did not use, but tried inflating it)”

“This property was beautiful but it was lacking a deck out the two sliding glass doors off the main room, there was just a 3 ft drop. There was no outside seating either, host told us there were rocks by the really old picnic table by the lake. Nothing close to the house though. The side door that was marked emergency exit had no lock on it, just a towel stuffed where the lock would be this had a 3 foot drop off to the ground as well. The property was beautiful and it was super easy to check...

“Absolutely beautiful spot, very quiet and peaceful. Pat was excellent getting back to me with any questions I had.”

“Absolutely lovely stay. Extremely clean, comfortable, spacious cottage. Huge deck with comfy chairs for watching the tides go in and out. Friendly local host.”

“Charming and authentic place in a secluded place right next to a lake. We loved our stay here, very helpful host as well!”

“Bel endroit tranquille! ”
