“Great place to spend time with friends. The living room seating arrangement was perfect for catching up. Very clean and linens were nice. The only down side to the property was a lot of light from outside lights came in through doors and windows. So if you need a dark room for sleeping, bring eye masks! Mexican restaurant next door was very good.”

“Erica is a very good manager. There was a problem with the bed and she had it replaced. She is always helpful and easy to reach. We have stayed in the Blue Cottage four times now. It will always be our go-to place for future trips to Kirksville, MO”

“This guest house was such a cute and comfortable space for our visit to Kirksville. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to do a load of laundry which was great. It’s a very short walk to Truman’s campus and walkable to the square, but still felt very tucked away and private. The hosts were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed!”

“Great place very quiet and secluded.”

“This is a very clean, family friendly lodge with all you can want for a family gathering. the kitchen is very well stocked with cooking pans, dishes and cleaning supplies. It has two refrigerators which is great for keeping beverages cool in summer. Extra spacious for rainy days in the huge rec room with pool table! Thank you Gerald for making this an enjoyable stay for our family!”

“Nice location. We were there for all the flea markets and country store shopping. House was cozy.”
