“It was just as we expected and what we wanted—-a quiet remote place—-with more birds than people! We were so lucky with the weather too….water out front and a lovely breeze most of the time. We brought food in and enjoyed fresh fish and relaxing times. We slept well with nearly all the windows open for the night air. The tide came in and we kayaked a little out front. “Southside Harbour Vacations Apartment was a lovely little gem along the Antigonish Harbour. We loved the apartment! It’s a spacious layout with beautiful decor. It was meticulously clean. John and Kathryn were very friendly hosts, they shared lots of information about the area’s highlights and accommodated us with kayaks and a lobster steamer. The host was available for any questions - thank you so much John and Kathryn -PS-it was a pleasure to meet your children- ”

“Everything about this place is so amazing and welcoming. From the drive there to first stepping into the dome, to seeing all of the personal touches all throughout. We loved star gazing outside and through the top of the dome from the loft. The bed was cozy and the communication with the host was quick and so very helpful. Cannot recommend this place enough!”
