A slight downside was the bathtub and shower combo which was located under a slanted part of the ceiling, so an adult could not stand up and take a shower. “Absolutely loved my stay here!!! Bathroom is fabulous, and the room set up is cozy— I was extremely comfortable and it was nice to know people were around! “This was our first time staying in Allenspark and this little cabin was perfect for my boyfriend and I. The location is secluded and the view is stunning. I think the only thing that may make the cabin better would be a bigger shower, a tv in the bedroom (it was very windy and I could have used some added noise and I like to wake up and lounge to some tv). Our party consisted of three adult couples from the Houston area that just wanted to get away and get into the mountains and unwind. This property was perfect for that. Wes, the owner came up after we got there and introduced himself, as he likes to meet who is going to be staying there. Great guy and he went over all the amenities in the house for us as he walked us through. We will definitely be back! We only left one time...

“My husband & I stayed with our son-in-law and his 2 boys. Both boys have a form of muscular dystrophy called Freidriech’s Ataxia and are in wheelchairs. They needed a weekend in nature and the cabin in Pleasant Valley fit the bill. We had to navigate a few stairs but all in all the environment was perfect. Marty, the on-site property manager, was very friendly & responsive. ”

“Our weekend getaway was a perfect reset. Nederland is such a chill town and we love coming up here for Backcountry Pizza. Our first stay in town and I highly recommend the Hobbit House! The cabin was cozy and cute and had everything we needed except a king size bed. I was impressed with the full kitchen and full bath. I also greatly appreciated the dark roast coffee pods! I hope to visit again! ”
