“No TV and no phone (by choice). I did hear a TV/ipad in the wagon nextdoor. I thought late afternoon what are we going to do tonight? My granddaughter was so enthralled with her idea of a great time - fishing things out of the pond, visiting the turkeys, and making sure all the animals had non-stop treats. Take plenty of carrots, apples, blueberries, and grapes. So the evening came and after her shower she asked to lay down at the front of our wagon to watch for lightning bugs. Some showed up...

“This sanctuary provided the experience my heart and soul needed. To experience a world where pigs, roosters, peacocks, dogs, cats, goats and a sheep can safely and freely roam around 20 acres to eat and lay down wherever they want is what I hope for ever animal. Elaine, owner, truly has a passion for these animals. She was kind and helpful throughout our time in the wagon. She maintains the grounds very clean and the animals appear to be very well taken care of.”

“We stayed here while visiting a family member in the hospital. While we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the lake or town. The house and host were terrific. 5 stars for attentiveness, cleanliness, and atmosphere. We would definitely comw again for relaxation and leasure.”

“Code for front door would not work but found backdoor unlocked. Pool was full of leaves and pine straw as was entire deck. No working wi fi was the worst. Also a dishwasher and instruction sheet from owner would have been nice. Neighborhood was less than desirable. Home was clean and smartly decorated. Just needs some love.”
