“The staff at the desk were helpful and checking in and out was fast and easy. My room was clean, quiet, and spacious. I only stayed one night, just to have a bed and a shower, but I enjoyed it nonetheless. The property looked nice and spacious as well. I think it should be advertised more clearly that the hotel is right next to some train tracks. I didn't mind them passing by, but others might not like the noise.”

“Close to NIU with breakfast included for a reasonable price. The cleaning was not done daily as the page stipulated and the pool was closed for maintenance in summer.”

“This space was excellent for all of our needs and more! We have family in the area and we were able to just walk everywhere needed. Excellent restaurant across the street. We have walked by this space countless times in the past when we lived downtown and never knew about it. The train that goes by is loud like a train should be but just added to the charm of the area cant say enough great things about it. Cant wait till our next stay!”

“Our grandchildren and grandchildren, all got together with us for a short stay it was wonderful love the area. The house was beautiful. There were lots of mosquitoes, but that’s life in Illinois. Thank you so much for the hospitality. Communication was amazing.”

“Overall really nice. It was clean and had extra towels/blankets and adequate kitchen. Plenty of space. Wifi was fine. It had fair AC and water. The washer dryer worked and she even left us enough soap for a few loads. The neighborhood was nice and we even went on a walk around to walk my dog. Would absolutely book again. Its about 1.5 hours to get to Chicago for a visit depending on the area. It also has some nice restraunts in the nearby towns. We also had a change of plans and she...

“Cute older home. New furniture and bedding. The home is older but is clean and spacious. Carpet is a little stained but there is a sign asking for no shoes on carpet so I feel like they are trying to keep it. Anything we messaged the host about they were prompt on replying. The parking is not for larger vehicles, it’s a narrow entry to the parking area. Very quiet little neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. ”
