Surrounded by trees, wildlife, and a quick, rocky walk down to the Smith River (cleanest in the country, arguably the world!). When we weren't out exploring, we lived in the backyard. I loved reading with my coffee in the early morning hours in the swing or on the deck, complete with sounds of the river rushing by and jays pestering me for peanuts.
