“Walden was exactly as advertised. We loved the cozy atmosphere and creature comforts. Due to rainy weather we did not get to utilize a lot of the outdoor and riverside amenities but recognized them for being available had the weather cooperated. Derek was very responsive to any needs we had. We loved the screened porch and ate their and enjoyed drinks despite the weather. We are already planning a return visit.”

“The perfect mountain home for a relaxing getaway! The proximity to the Front Royal Entrance to the Shenandoah National Park and the town was a plus! We saw deer (with a baby), rabbits, and tons of beautiful birds on the property.The house is nicely updated with all the amenities one could want. They have thought of everything!I would highly recommend this mountain home for a relaxing and adventurous family getaway!”

“We had a great time at this cabin! It was comfortable, clean, and beautiful! The pictures don’t do this place justice. Our only regret is not booking for a longer stay. We will definitely be returning! ”

“The area is absolutely gorgeous and the views from the deck and balcony are stunning. The cabin itself is cozy and quiet with plenty of places to relax and enjoy listening to the river, trees, and birds. We particularly enjoyed watching the sunrise, relaxing in the hot tub, and wading in the river with our dog. Overall, a lovely place to refresh.”

Also the coffee is espresso shot pods, so bring your own coffee pot if that isn’t your thing b”
