“We had a fishing tourney on the lake and this was the perfect place to crash! Location was great near some good restaurants but set back so it’s quiet. The firefly show last night off the deck was insane! Great amenities, great location, great hosts. Not much else to say. Just wish we caught more fish! We’ll be back!”

“I loved the privacy of the place! It's very close to the marina and we enjoyed their lobster dinner and live music. Weather was great that day! My husband fished off the pier and got so many fish of all different kinds. Pulled up 3 lb bass and 4 lb pike and I got a bowfin! We drove to Hero's Welcome every morning for coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Their lunch sandwiches were the best meal we had the whole trip! Just a lovely little town. So, basically we loved it. There were so many spider webs and big spiders around inside and outside, it could have used some extra love and cleaning. It gets a little loud when speeding cars go by.
