“Our family had a wonderful stay at this house. We make an annual trip to Galena with our kids and grandkids. This house was by far the most well stocked of anywhere we have stayed. Communication with the owner was also great. House was very clean too. We enjoyed having enough space for everyone to spread out. Thanks to the owners!”

“Beautifully restored school house. Great quiet place for two couples just outside of town. Nice subtle “schoolhouse theme” and equipped with everything we needed. Simple and clean. “This home is the definition of charm - so many little details and the decor is wonderful. The home is about a 10-15 minute drive into Galena, which worked out really well for our group. We loved the convenience of being only a short drive away while still being in a peaceful neighborhood with a wonderful view of the lake. There is no central A/C in the home, but that wasn't a problem for us as the provided unites kept the home comfortable for us. We closed the blinds when we left during the day...
